A little picey on the cocktails. But ..The Best Fish Fry in Vilas co Out of this World. 2 of us had the Cod and one had the Pearch. My Son was worried that the fish would be too flakey ,so he ordered a Burger , another A+ . Great Job BLACK FOREST.

The food is fantastic, the selection has good variety without overreaching, and the staff all seem to be excellent. Everyone in my family ordered something different and we were all well pleased! Beyond the prices being a bit high, I would like to see some more of the German wines available by the glass.

This German gal's idea of Heaven! Spaetzle like oma made. Roladen, rot kraut (red cabbage), and potato soup, oh my!!! LOVE on a plate. Great food, drinks, and friendly service all year round.

The atmosphere here is great and the food is good. My only criticism is with the prices or value. Many entrees are over $20. Most of those items are not steak or seafood. If you love quality German food and don't mind spending over $60 on dinner for two you will be pleased. Others may find the process a bit high.
