Not normally the person to post a review but also don't want what happened to me to happen to someone else that may not know any better. Went in for an alignment Monday 9/18/17, left my 2015 ram 1500 there at 8am and had them drop me off at work so there was no rush on the tech to get the alignment done. Get a call later and they tell me that they can't/won't do the alignment because the lower control arm ball joints on both front control arms are so loose, They recommend that I replace both the lower control arms with new ball joints already installed from the factory. That they could have the parts in the next day installed for $700. I told them to hold off I'll just come pick up the truck. Went to two different mechanic shops for different opinions. I watched both mechanics go in with a 4ft pry bar and couldn't get the ball joints to even budge. Then proceeded to go through the rest of the front end to make sure nothing else could possibly be loose. The conclusion of both the other shop mechanics was and I quote "The entire front end of you truck is solid as a rock and there is absolutely nothing wrong with your lower ball joints or any other ball joints on the truck" end quote. To rest my case Big E Tire on court st was trying to take me for an arm and a leg when nothing was wrong with my truck. Don't get me wrong super polite and nice people. Just beware if they say something is wrong with your vehicle get a second or even third option by another mechanic before you have them do any work on your vehicle.
Edit 9/22/17 - changing from 1 to 3 stars because I got an unexpected call from Rob the store manager which goes towards his goal of best customer service possible. Long story short he called my cell phone, trying to get to the bottom of the situation because in his mind what happened to me is unacceptable and is going to do whatever necessary to make sure this doesn't happen again. Also to see what he could do to correct the situation with me. Just because I don't want to smear someone's reputation because of the bad decision of an employee. I will be going back to them sometime this week for an alignment. If all goes well with the alignment and Rob can see for his own eyes that what two other mechanics told me (that nothing is wrong with my ball joints). So he can do whatever he needs to do as a supervisor. I will change from 3 to 5 stars.response / report this review -

When setting up an appointment never expect this place to follow through. 9 am appointment finally have our car being seen at 10 am. But show up late to your appointment by 2minutes and your spots taken by another, yet your car won't be seen for an hour after. Or longer if you don't rush them. Will not go to again.

They corrected my order to ensure I had the right tire and even saved me some money. Saved me money on an alignment and oil change and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Tire pricing is as advertised, no additional fees.

I was thrilled to find out Rich was working at Big E Tire. I searched for months after a Big chain took over Kost and the service turned south very quick. I trust that I am given the best advice and service when I go to Rich at BigETire.

So far, I've had two experiences with the team at Big E Tire, with more planned. The first was a simple oil change. I priced out oil and filters diligently as always, determined to find the best deal and to do it myself. Im a born & raised do-it-your-selfer, but it was cheaper to have Rich and their team change my oil than it was for me to do it myself (and with better products than I was about to use). The second was when I had new rear shocks installed 2 weeks later. I was late to my scheduled appointment, but I called and they got me right in anyway. I appreciate that because my days off of work are still very full. And again I was blown away at the professionalism, courtesy, and ability to make it a remarkable experience, despite encountering the dreaded "unforeseen issues" with my vehicle. I saved A LOT of time and money trusting this team at Big E, and they'll be handing any other issues I have in the future. Thank you, to all

To be put at ease, looked in the eye, a firm handshake, and a genuine smile these things matter to me as much as the high quality of service and respect.
I've only been in twice, yet these guys treated me like a long-time friend. I felt welcome, listened to, and comfortable. The work was done promptly, the price was fair, the information was uncomplicated.

This is the cleanest mechanic shop I've ever been in. I took a truck in for an alignment. The mechanic looked at it and told me that he didn't think the alignment would fix my problem. He directed me where to go with it and didn't charge me a penny. Very satisfied with this shop.

Got me right in for an oil change, friendly staff, nice comfy waiting area. Took over an hour due to the local parts place not getting the filter there in time..but not Big E's fault. I will return for service again. Side note, they topped off/checked all my fluids, which is rare these days.
