It's an amazing place for viewing some wildlife or start a hiking tour even threw the swamp. The rangers that work at the visitor center are very friendly and help you planing your hiking tour.

The Rangers are very helpful! The boardwalk is a nice mini trail with lots of gators and fish, and some birds.

Southern hospitality for sure is found here. The folks at the info desk and store are very friendly and have a wealth of information. If you are looking for more than a store, washroom and alligators it's prolly gonna be somewhere else. Kinda cool when planes land

This stop was well worth it. Lots of Gators, turtles, and gar along the shaded walkway. A quick video about the area and a great staff that can give info about the myriad of attractions and programs

The gators are free to come and go. They like the deep canal and all the fish. I recommend it. Great staff, too!

We've been here before but enjoyed it much more this year because they had someone providing information about alligators. It made it much more interesting and informative. Also, they have a movie playing in the building to sit and watch that explained a lot about the preserve and its role in the environment. Very interesting.
