A favorite BBQ eaterya hole in the wall restaurant that does not disappoint. Try the BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp or mixed grille. They are by far the best!
Great food and great atmosphere they have a terrific BBQ. Prices are very acceptable as well. Very friendly staff.
There is a lady by the name of Sherry and she states she is the manager, but she if by far the most rude person I have ever came across in the customer service industry. I travel for my profession and have to say I have dealt some serious characters over the years, but this is absolutely the worst. The food here is always pretty good no matter the choice you decide to go with, but that's only if you decide to come back or make it through your first try, as rude and horrible as the service is you receive each and everytime you visit.
Big Arts has received my last buck and although I'm sure they care less, I will be sure to pass this on to as many folks as I possibly can about this rude manager and their customer service.
Last night my husband went to Big Art's BBQ for the first time with some family. He had the pulled pork, which he said was good but he wanted to try the ribs that he saw come out. Today, he decided he wanted to go back to try the ribs. So, we went as a date night tonight. It was delicious!!! I had the pork loin chops and I enjoyed every single bite. My husband got the ribs and he was very pleased with them. I never eat meat off of the bone, however, he gave me a piece he tore off of his ribs to try. It was so good I went back for a second, third and fourth piece. We will definitely be going back to Big Art's BBQ.
Excellent food. Best ribs in Cincinnati! If it is crowded it is worth the wait.
Not bad no brisket got pulled pork wouldn't recommend it ribs were good barbecue chicken was really good
Servers have rude attitudes, mess up the food, and the honest truth is the barbecue isn't that good. The burger was great, and the prices are okay, but everything else? I'd skip it. The baked beans come from a can, the sauce is straight sugar, and the wait times aren't worth it
Been eating here almost 20 years now. Karen always takes good care of us. Ribs, wings, steaks, sandwiches whatever you want, are all yummy. Family owned business, well worth a visit.
Great food and service! Smells wonderful when driving by!
Wonderful little place! The food is top notch and the staff is great. The interior is really unique and the butcher shop next door is fantastic!
Fair warning I'm a little biased, besides the McRib these were the first ribs I'd ever tasted. Lucky me!!! Without a doubt these are the best ribs in town, winning taste of Cincinnati awards, taste of colerain, and the secret BBQ sauce recipe was even sought after to go retail nationwide (but Art wouldn't change the recipe to ad preservatives).
Must order: Ribs, Amber Skins, 1/4 chicken, and extra Garlic Rolls
Can do without: lackluster sides dishes (although I've heard the coleslaw is great, I stick to the steak fries)
Even though you can't buy the sauce in Kroger's, you can buy it at the restaurant in pints and quarts. You can even buy all the raw meats they use in the restaurant at the adjoining deli next door (as if you could top Arts smoker 😜).
Great atmospherelittle ole place that was packed, little wait. Great food, full of flavor! Had to be freshly smoked same day. Only bummer.no Mac n Cheese. Can't go wrong with this place.
This is my favorite BBQ joint hands down. It should be featured on the TV show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. It's an unassuming place in a small strip next to a convenience store/gas station, but the food rocks! Best ribs, pulled pork, etc. in the area. The bacon wrapped BBQ shrimp are to die for! Best burger I ever had. And the steak fries are only bested by the potato skins. And don't forget to leave some room for the Orange-sickle cake for dessert! It's so good we had them make a whole one for my sons birthday party!
