I have been uncertsin of the products at Big 5 before because I haven't shopped there much. We did an emergency run late this evening because my son is leaving earlier than I realized tomorrow for snow camping. Not only did we find some great cold weather gear at good after Christmas prices, but they stayed late for us without mentioning it or grumbling about it (I thought they closed at 10, not 9:30), AND even though I said it wasn't necessary the cashier returned all the items and rung them up again so we could use a $10 off coupon that I forgot I had. I will be spending more time at Big 5 for my family's sporting and outdoor needs!

This place always has good sales and quality sports gear. Whenever I need sports gear or equipment--especially shoes--I go to Big Five first. Nine times out of ten I've found what I've needed and wanted. I'll be a customer here as long as they are in business.

Usually Big 5 isn't the most impressive sporting goods store but really glad I went here instead of Dick's. The place was super clean and organized and more employees than customers so getting help was as easy as possible. Two thumbs up.

Good place to buy athletic shoes for kids and adults, but they do not stock mens shoes larger than 13. Employees are helpful. Frequent good sales through the year with a large selection. Many other athletic sporting goods. Nothing fishing, hunting, or gun related.
