  Bicycle Garage, Inc. is not located in the Indiana University Bookstore, although the staff posses encyclopedic knowledge of bicycles and the cycling community in Bloomington.

  Was on the fence about BG until now, they really sold me.
  Dropped off my Trek Stache I had just purchased (secondhand) for a brake bleed. Long story short the guy had put the wrong fluid in the brakes rendering them useless. The guys at the shop did 2 1/2 bleeds because they were puzzled at first until realizing the issue. They were able to finish before I expected. (Dropped off Monday right before close got it Wednesday right after close.) They stayed late so I could get my bike and replace the brakes with old ones had and was able to get on the road for our trip to Michigan!
  In total charged me $20 for labor on im sure was a 2ish hour job.

  I've had varying degrees of quality with them. The last experience I had it took them two days longer than expected to replace my chain and tighten an axle and the job they did was so shotty it broke my derailer.

  A top rate bike shop!
  I ride a recumbent an the staff has been very helpful with my more technical repair.
  Free parking in the back of store, roll your bike right into the repair shop.

  Talk about amazing! Fred was onsite at the RAIN rest stops doing volunteer repairs! He changed my friend's broke spoke in no time so she could finish the ride! What a giving mechanic and company! I can't wait to visit the shop if that's the kind of customer service they provide!

  For some reason every time I visit this shop I instantly regret it. I get the vibe that everyone there thinks their better than you. I would not recommend visiting this shop.

  Favorite shop in town. Good prices on parts and very helpful staff. I also purchased my Trek road bike there years ago which I am still riding.
