I just bought a new Trek from them. They were great and took the time to listen to my riding needs and suggest a bike that was right for me!
Great sales, advice and service.employees are all characters in their own right. I'm 3 miles from a bicycle shop on rt41 in Venice and I drive the 14 miles to Port Charlotte because of these folks.
Top notch bike shop! Great staff and super service.
Bought 3 bikes and accessories. Sales rep was very friendly and helpful. Overall was a very satisfying shopping experience. My grandson loves his new bike! So do my wife and I !! Would highly recommend this store
Excellent place to go for any of your Bicycle needs. They have a Wide variety of bikes for sale. For kids & adults of any age / size.
I was on a ride a couple days ago and got a flat in my front tube. I could have changed it myself but my back tire was rather worn so I figured I'd take it in to this shop to get a replacement (price online for the tire seemed reasonable). It's $15 dollars to change EACH tire, that's $30 bucks to do a 10 minute job that you can easily do in the garage. Tubes were 7.99 each and for whatever reason he put a new one on back tire too. I went in needing a tube and came out with $110 credit card bill. I asked if they recommended any particular chain lubes for this climate/area too, "anything on the top shelf, they're all the same ingredients so doesnt matter, I'll meet you at the register". And at checkout he made a point that he made some adjustments to my derailer that he didn't charge me for. Sweet. I haven't been into a shop since I bought the bike a few years ago but my uncle said the prices were way high, he went to some small shop in North Port and the guy looked over his rig, made some adjustments, lubed, tighten, gave advicen, etc for around 50 bucks. Don't know the name but this isn't a marketing post anyway so don't matter.
I haven't owned or purchased a bike in a long time (maybe about 15 years ago is when I had my last bike; I'm 31 now). My husband and I recently decided to start shopping around for a bike for each of us, along with lights and a rack for them for my car.
Bicycle Center is about 5 minutes from my house, so I decided to stop in on my way home from work to get an idea of what they had and what kind of prices to expect. I walked in, and before I could even really look around, I was approached by an employee who asked what I was looking for. I explained the above, and he said that he could get a better idea by wanting to know how much I'm willing to spend. Not knowing what price range bikes currently start in, I said, "Well, maybe around a couple hundred per bike?" Instead of just explaining that they don't have bikes in that price range and showing me what they *do* have, he then (very rudely) told me to just go right on back out the door and head to "our favorite department store friends, Walmart" to find what I'm looking for.
So I did leave (but didn't head to Walmart), and I won't even think of giving them future business if this is how they treat potential customers who are looking for some assistance.
Was just there. A young employee/owner?? was yelling at another employee. On and off for 10-15 minutes.
Was uncomfortable being in store. Will not go back.
Stopped in to replace a helmet and get some things i left in Saint louis. Great prices and product knowledge. Every staff member there seemed like they loved their jobs and wanted to help other people. I alsoEnded up receiving some Wonderful suggestions for some gravel riding and road riding. I will gladly stop in again next time I'm in the area.
