I love this state park. It has amazing sites and the cabins are gorgeous. We go every year and this surely has become and family tradition.

Stop there after going to Glimmerglass State Park. It wasn't worth the drive. You are not in the mountains. Its also a stone road . There are so many other state parks that are much better.

I have been going to these cabins for 6 years now. It has become almost an annual trip I have been in every season except summer. The cabins are clean and in amazing condition. The staff is kind and accommodating. I highly recommend this place. Great for hikers and a family or friends getaway. There are caves and great antiquing a drive away. I have a trip planned for April and cannot wait!!

We rented one of the cabins (site 006) for a week in June 2015 and loved it. Cabins are well equipped and look as nice as they do in the virtual tour. Our young children loved all the open spaces, including the playground where you can watch the sun set. Staff was super friendly. Great place for a family vacation but we also found it to be quiet and peaceful as well. We will go back, maybe to site 004 or 005 which have the best views!
