  Some of the most beautiful nature I have ever seen. Wild thimbleberries and raspberries, cool calm waters of Lake Superior. Unparalleled tranquility in the Upper Peninsula.

  A HUGE local natural resource that gets better every year. Extensive white sand beach (when the lake level isn't so high), thousands of acres of wetlands, and loads of wildlife to search for. Excellent location for non-motorized exploration.

  One of the least best kept secrets for summer beach time. On a nice day this beach is packed! Still worth it for the warm shallow waters and potential to surf the waves on your kayak or SUP.
  
  This is the dropping point for many who want to paddle out to Montreal Falls or around the Keweenaw to Manitou Island or Copper Harbor.
