Margaret Bennett did an exceptional great job representing me in my family law case. If you are looking for an experienced family law attorney who will be there for you every step of the way, I recommend Ms. Bennett. I was initially represented by one of the big divorce firms, and was not happy with the large impersonal representation or the cost. A friend recommended Margaret Bennett and the Bennett Law Firm. Margaret returned my calls and emails immediately. She explained the law and gave me a clear understanding of what I should expect in my case. She is a sincere professional and cares for her clients. I was happy with the outcome of my case. I didn't spend a lot of money like I did with the other law firm. In fact, Ms. Bennett resolved my case so quickly, I received a refund of the unused portion of my retainer! Not many attorneys would do that! She is a real class act. Thank you, Margaret!

An excellent attorney!! Ms. Margaret Bennett vent beyond my expectation! She has handled my divorce, custody, and alimony case incredibly well!
Before I filed for divorce I had heard all kinds of horror stories about how long it was going to take and how much it was going to cost and how ugly it was going to be …. NOT WITH Ms. MARGARET BENNETT! My divorce was clean and fast thanks to her. A reliable, smart, hard working, and kind attorney, She guided me through my divorce process with integrity and skills, always took time to answer my questions. I am very thankful for it.

Maggie Bennett is one of the most brilliant women I've ever had the opportunity of working with in any capacity. After what I deemed a horrific experience with another divorce lawyer almost 7 years ago, Maggie was able to take over my case and bring it to a resolve in less than 3 months. She is the epitome of professionalism. Over the course of the past 7 years I've had to call upon her for her expertise in a variety of post divorce situations and on all accounts she has been prompt, courteous and generous with her time in answering questions and advocating on my behalf. Maggie recently represented me in my divorce and we used the Illinois collaborative process. Maggie's professionalism and kindness made an emotionally charged and difficult situation much more bearable. Additionally, her extensive knowledge of and experience with the collaborative process allowed for a swift resolution, helping to keep legal costs to a minimum. I would not hesitate to recommend Maggie and the Bennett Law Firm to anyone needing representation in a divorce.

Ms. Bennett is the best family law attorney in the Chicagoland area! Not only does Ms. Bennett care about her clients and the results of the cases she is involved in, but she cares about improving the state laws surrounding child support, maintenance, and other family law related issues. I was very pleased with Ms. Bennett and her staff. My divorce was a difficult time for me, as I imagine it is for most. Throughout the entire process, from initial consultation through to the last day in court, Maggie was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and caring. She and her staff were prompt to reply to my questions and always very understanding. My best interest was always at the center of everything they did. I highly recommend Bennett Law Firm.

Sharing my experience in working with Margaret Bennett and the Bennett Law Firm is something I do with ease and with appreciation. Maggie is extremely knowledgable, fair and detailed in focus. Divorce involving children is a very difficult experience yet having an attorney such as Maggie makes it a much more comforting experience.
Maggie not only knows family law extremely well, she also has the ability to consider the whole picture. She is concerned with the children having a positive and safe relationship with both parents and consistently puts the child's experience as a highest priority.
My relationship with her and her law firm exemplifies professionalism, responsiveness and willingness to listen and understand. She asks very good questions to provoke a well thought out understanding of the situation. Maggie consistently looks for a balanced outcome.

I reached out to Mr. Bennett while serving in Korea in order to start my divorce process. I have not met or even dealt with a more professional man who took the time and dedication that Mr. Bennett did in order to help me out. Mr. Bennett was outstanding and I could not possibly think any other lawyer who took my case on would have been able to handle as much as he did. The tireless effort that Mr. Bennett took in order to answer every question that I have had and to go above and beyond to make sure that no question was never answered. I would recommend Mr. Bennett to anyone in the Chicago land area who would need a lawyer for their needs.

Making the divorce process easier--Maggie was referred to me by another attorney group. She was the consummate professional, not only providing me with a good understanding of the law applicable to my case but also practical considerations necessary to bring my divorce to a successful close without unnecessary litigation and confrontation. She efficiently and forcefully defended my rights while protecting total assets--an important consideration for both sides in a divorce. I would not hesitate to recommend her. She is always at the top of her game.
