The entire staff is very patient with my dog. He has never been a fan of going to the vet but they help us both get through it. I have a happy and healthy boy thanks to them!

They will actively lie about price. Surgery costed me $500 more than they originally quoted. I regret giving this place ANY of my business, stay away.

They took amazing care of baby Chihuahua named Faye, providing her with all of her vaccines, deworming, and heart guard. They treated her like the little princess she is and made me trust them even more. Waiting was never a major issue as it is with most other animal hospitals. I would only use Belvidere for baby animals but once they get old enough I would recommend seeking out a private vet closer to home or one that would come to your house. Because Belvidere can get expensive and requires quite a drive, especially from Loves Park.

Dr. Probst truly loves animals. He is an awesome vet who treats you and your pet like family. He always gives the best care. He has saved a couple dogs I love. I trust him with my fur babies lives. He is genuine and truthful and doesn't do unnecessary things just to rack up the bill. There are a lot of vets I know who should follow in his footsteps.
