I've been here once and talked to them over the phone once.
When I sold them my laptop a little over two years ago, it was an easy process and I got an okay chunk of money back (it was a 17.3in HP running Ubuntu; 5months old and I paid about $650 for it on sale, got $150 back). That's fine. It wasn't running a mainstream operating system and they need their money, too. I just needed money to pay some bills while I was in-between jobs.
Today, I called inquiring about what I'd need to do to take out a loan using a cellphone as collateral. The phone in question was an iPhone 7+, but the lady didn't even ask that. I told her it was Sprint and that it was pending to be unlocked, but she cut me off and said they don't take Sprint phones. Didn't ask how long it'd take to be unlocked or anything. This time, I needed cash to send to a close friend living in Houston so they could get back to family in Louisiana (if reading this in the future, this was during Hurricane Harvey). Was hoping for a loan to float me until I got paid on Thursday and the collateral didn't even need to be the iPhone. I have other items I could've used, but she was quick to shoot me down ("I don't take Sprint phones, bye"). Pretty disappointing given the situation. I understand that not everyone picks up the items they pawn, but I kind of need my cellphone so it wouldn't have burdened them for more than a few days. Even so, I had other items I could've put up but now I'm not confident they'd give me the time of day to ask whether or not they'd take a Smart TV or Xbox One instead.response / report this review -

Overall good selection. But horrible scams if you sell, expect your item to resell 4-5 times what it's worth and above eBay prices. Don't come in after 5 or on weekends they randomly close.

Bellingham pawn off bakerview n I5 in Bellingham is the worst pawn n shop in town, in whatcom county, and the state. They do not do not do not offer the most for loans. Even cash america by the mall beats them. No loan is too small is a complete lie!! They do not do small loans. They dont take tablets unless iphone or samsung. Offered me nothing for a $200 max can fan cuz the guy didnt want garden stuff. Even though the couple behind me heard the conversation and offered me $100 for the fan outside because this is washington n people garden here all the time. And a huge fact is how dirty n smelly the store is. Nothing looks clean. Its all just thrown on shelves and the smell of must n mold is awful. Like there was major water damage in there n no-one properly cleaned the place. This place is the worst. Dont waste your time with these scam artists. This place should be shut down for its business practices. And i did file a complaint with the BBB as well as the city of Bellingham for all their wrong doings. Do not go here!

Nice lady, i was there with my wife looking for rings, and she was very honest about the diamond quality. We came from vancouver, she helped by directing us to cash America.very rare to come across people like her.sincere people recommend any one .
