Water and drink glasses were dirty. Buffet food was very limited as far as selection and bland on taste. I would have expected a bigger and tastier selection of food and at least 1 free alcoholic beverage (Wine or Beer ) offered with the meal for what we paid. The Christmas Show was relaxing and nice. They performed many of our favorite songs from popular Christmas movies childhood and the dancing choreography was ok for the size of stage that is there. The sound System was very well operated. I would rate the whole experience 3 Star*** on a 5 star rating.
This was a birthday surprise for my wife last night 12/12/17 and was not what we expected at all. Don’t get me wrong, the show was amazing and we really enjoyed it. However the food was terrible!!! The vegetables were stone cold and the meat was also cold and very dry. Considering the price that we paid you would think their standards would be quite good. We attend the Indiana Repertoire Theatre regularly for shows so if we wanted just a show, we would go there. A little disappointed and definitely wouldn’t go there again and I would not recommend it at all for the price and low food quality.
Beef & Boards is a live theater. First they feed you. Every thing is superb. The waiters are courtius and attentive. We watched Ghost. All I can say is it was fantastic. The performers were great. I definitely recommend it. I plan on going again.
The show was great and the meal was delicious. I have been going their for the last twenty five years and it just seems to get better. If you have never been your missing the best entertainment ever. Try it you will like it.
The staff here is excellent. The buffet deserves a grade of B. We weren't that concerned about the food, though. We were there to be entertained, and I have to say, mission accomplished. One of the best musicals I've ever seen. We will definitely be back.
Great value. I have always enjoyed going to Beef & Boards. Last night my wife and saw West Side Story. The roast beef is always excellent; the rest of the meal was good. The show was great. Great value. An awesome Indianapolis institution.
Never again.
$180 in tips, gift, & tickets. Dry, bland food and a salad bar with no fresh vegetables offered.
This venue badly needs an update! Why are the chairs so uncomfortable and people seated so close to one another that you cannot move without disrupting everyone next to you?
This is NOT a place for people with disabilities.
West side story was a good show although the casting was mediocre.
Not spending that kind of money again just to be miserable the entire evening.
We went to the Ring of Fire show. The folks in the show were talented and the wait staff was world class! The buffet was mediocre, the entrance to the buffet and seating were both extremely tight and awkward. The seats are not square with respect to the stage, so you are looking 90 degrees to the side. 2 hours of this is hard on your neck. I highly recommend the box seats. There are only a few, they are in the very back, but they look straight at the stage. Value for the money is fair.
This was my first time here and I will definitely be going back! The buffet style food had limited options, but it was all very good. The show was an excellent show! There's not a bad seat in house!
Far and away the premier place to get the best of Broadway at the best price. The quality of service is second to none, and from the top down is a first-class establishment. Will keep you coming back time and time again!
Shriek was an excellent production in all ways: lighting, costume, set, and actors. There were some outstanding vocal performances by Fiona and the Dragon. Donkey stole the show. Three generations were entertained and delighted.
I've been here twice with different plays. The food is really good but seating is a little tight but that is definitely not a deterrent from wanting to go back.
Love the food and the plays. Haven't seen a bad one yet! I would go to every show, if i could! Makes special occasions more special. Love it! 💗💗💗💗💗💗
Pretty good options for dinner theater in the Indianapolis area. Prices are fairly reasonable. Food is typically above average and better than average when compared to your average banquet hall.
Acting for the plays has always been above average.
Man I really wish I liked this place more . Honestly the plays are very well done but the food is just OK and the seats SUCK! The last time we went we figured out how to set so that we were not super uncomfortable but still not good. I would definitely recommend buying the seats that face the stage if you can. I have never been so lucky they sell out fast. We went for New years eve party and had a fantastic time! There band for dancing was fun. I wish they would figure out better seating I would go more often.
