Beaver Run was amazing! The staff so was friendly and helpful and my room was perfect! I also had a massage at the Spa, which I would highly recommend, and started my last day there with a morning soak in one of the many hot tubs. I will definitely be back to stay during the ski season because this si the perfect ski in / ski out location!
My resort room had a nice layout and window view of the snow mountains. Cleaning crew provided average services. On my first day we didn't have hot water. I was told to visit the pool showers, but I took a shower in cold/lukewarm water anyways (after 9-10hrs of driving here). Front Parking is a huge problem. They have a parking garage, but its a long walk to your room. I asked the front desk for a cart only (w/o a handler) to handle my luggage, but I was refused. Shuttle rides are convenient, but call them when you are ready. They will not wait on you. I might try this place again, but I will definitely look else where. My first impression of this place wasn't great, but fair.
Super quiet and the room was great and had a great view. Pool and Hot tubs were fantastic. -- Elevators were broken. It closed on my daughters foot and didn't retract. Common areas(hallways, gym, arcade) were filthy. -- We've been visiting Beaver Run annually for over 10 years. We love Beaver Run but it is starting to feel dated. It was also noticeably dirty this time. The gym needs an updating as does this overall decor. The arcade has so much potential and it has never been realized in the 10-12 years we've been going. The hotel maid was on her phone on several occasions when we asked for something. The biggest disappointment was the lack of concern for our daughter who had an elevator close on her foot. It seems like they sent of the maintenance man instead of a hotel concierge or attendant.
You made it all easy. Thanks. -- Only issue was the sometimes confusing navigation with some elevators and steps closed for servicing. -- Irma (from NJ) at the front desk was wonderful and helped me find late night food upon my arrival. Tanique from Jamaica and Lauren from Illinois provided excellent and interesting service at Spencer's for breakfast. Wonderful young women all. Charming and eager to help and chat.
Nice resort.
I felt safe and enjoyed being in a very nice room that was comfortable even though it was too cool for my tastes. -- I still don't have my email receipt. I had a great experience except for that. -- A little better signage so I wouldn't feel silly wandering into others meetings.
The room I requested months in advance was not available till the second day of my stay. The heater and the whirlpool in my room did not work. I had to switch over the breakers to make them work. The cleaning service was so bad I left the do not disturb sign on my door and took care of cleaning my own room. I paid too much for the service I received. Could have gotten better service from a mom and pops hotel next town over. -- Rooms not clean. Heater did not work had to switch over the breaker to make it work and the whirlpool too. -- Did not get the room I had requested until my second day of my stay and I had to to turn on breakers in the unit to make things work. -- I had to do more work to stay there then actually enjoy my time there.
We enjoyed Beaver Run and will definitely return. We stayed in a studio with a kitchen and enjoyed being able to eat meals in the room. We loved that there is so much on the property - pools, hot tubs, restaurants, store. Everything was convenient. The staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. We would recommend the property!
State a couple nights at Beaver Run for a professional event. Really nice facility with Incredible views of Breckenridge. Nice spacious rooms with fairly comfy beds. They have a workout gym and multiple hot tubs outside which is really nice. They also have multiple restaurants and bars if you're interested in having dinner or just grabbing a drink. Also if you're there in the winter there's super easy access two ski lifts. Lots of great places to stay in Breckenridge but definitely consider Beaver Run.
My kids enjoyed the pool and hot tubs. -- The room was run down room. -- No -- Our room was extremely run down. Not suited for a family of four like advertised. -- Cabinets were falling apart, fridge had broken shelves and drawers, bed was hard and sinking to the middle and not enough dishes for my family of 4 to eat a meal. -- I'm shocked a resort of this class allows their rooms to be in this condition. We wanted to relax and have down time as as family, but could not even rest in our uncomfortable room. Very disappointing!
Nice size resort with variety of options from restaurant to hot tub, latte to meeting rooms. -- Pillows on bed were too soft, not enough support. -- It would be nice to have some areas where people could work quietly on a computer, small meeting rooms 2-5 people and laptop friendly.
Super friendly team of people who helped make our stay great. They even allowed us to delay our check out time. Beaver Run is clean, has great hot tubs and a nice bar too.
Everything was excellent. Top shelf experience -- My room was kind of a far walk from conference. -- Earlier Breakfast times would be nice. 8 am was when many of our activities began, so I did not get to enjoy the buffet, and I think I would have liked that
What a great experience we had at this resort. We were passing through in the summer and decided to rent a townhouse for a weekend. Out three boys had the weekend of their summer here, alpine slides, downhill mountain biking, and many other great activities. The staff was friendly and out lodging was very clean.
