  The staff and owner were very friendly and knowledgeable, I'd recommend this store for quality and selections over any of the Big box stores instead of replacement every 5 years their builder's build it to last generations

  Overall- so very disappointed in the customer service we are receiving. We ordered a custom table in aug 2016, and here I am at the end of may 2017 and I still do not have my table. I have had it twice- mind you- but it was not correct either time. The first time waiting the full 12 weeks (8-12 week estimate given when I ordered) for the table and it had the wrong apron on it and also the 4 leaves for the table were not stained the same color as the rest of the table. At this point, I was feeling patient. Mistakes happen, make it right and I will be fine. (They did allow us to keep the table over the holidays so that we wouldn't be without one. ) once they picked up the table, we were told 4 weeks. We waited 7 and had no communication from anyone regarding the delays. Finally, after we initiated a call, we were told that it looked ok in the "shop" but not sure how it will look in my dining room that has "so much natural light". That was the next clue that it wasn't going to be correct. Sure enough, the table arrived and the leaves looked exactly the same as they did the first time (although this time the apron was correct). It was VERY obvious that the 4 leaves were a minimum of a shade lighter than the rest of the table. They took the leaves back to have them stained a darker shade. AGAIN. So again, I am without a table. Was told that they were hoping to have it turned around really quickly- were going to make a special trip to drop it off and pick it up. Might get it turned around in a week or 2. I have now been waiting another 6.5 weeks and haven't heard a thing. TERRIBLE communication. Every time we talk to someone, there is an excuse as to why it was someone else's fault. So disappointing. Beautiful chairsbut need the table!

  We've purchased several pieces from Bears In The Woods over the years and will likely purchase more soon for our new home. The products they carry are superior in every way to any I've seen in the big box stores -- except for price, but the saying you get what you pay for truly applies here.
