I remember this place I’ve been there with Ashley my father my uncle and all the rest of my family
Awful! Just Awful! Our fire ring was full of ashes. Broken picnic table's. Quiet time is not enforced , seasonal campers (apparently friends of the owners) were absolutely intoxicated, caused disturbance until 3am. If you like nature, are a decent respectful person ,enjoy a family friendly campground.this is not the place for you. It's very small, there are personal homes on the property (which are poorly taken care of) it's more like a trailer park. I DO NOT recommend Bear Cave!!
The word "maintenence " is not in the vocabulary here. At one time many years ago this might have been a nice place to stay but now it's a run down resort from a different age. There is a redeeming quality however, pinball machines and Ms. Pac-Man in the game room!
Best experience ever, got to go to the cave and it was really interesting. Definitely going back
Loved this place. The campground had plenty of room for an r.v. and there was a pool, walking trail, kayaking and canoeing, club house and river. Would definitely recommend this campground.
Beautiful campground. Has a big pool, lots to do with kids too.
This is our second year here. It is a beautiful campground and the staff are so nice. Only suggestion would be to update the showers. They are still good but just looking slightly worn. The pool is beautiful at the end of a long hot day at the Red Bud MX races!
Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and guests. Fun walking trails! Great campground!
We stopped in for the cave tour. Small but very interesting! Would recommend for beginners. We did not camp but the facility looked clean and secure.
Went there to see bear cave it was fantastic for being a small cave it was still a lot of fun would recommend to family and friends would definitely go back
Bear Cave has its ups and downs. Close to anything you needed, stores, restaurants, beach, and expressways. resort was a bit run down, but all in all, everything we needed was there. Pool, shower house, game room, full hook up, and fishing. We lost power, but a storm came through. Few needs by the park maybe would be fix hot tub, cut the grass, better up keep on playgrounds, clean the nature areas from debris, and some stone at the site drives. I will most likely stay again.
Had a brief one night stay at Bear Cave. We were running late, and couldn't figure out an after hours number, and really hoped we'd still be able to spend the night. To our surprise, at 9:58 we were greeted with open arms, and a smile. We didn't mind too much where our site was, and the manager brought us to a perfect site next to the bathrooms and play ground. We were set up, and ready for bed by 1030! Loved the super clean and cold bathroom, and nice hot showers.
