The office help is good. The furniture is aged and the the doors don't close very well, so it's a little noisy and too much outside light.. The breakfast area is nice.

Filthy. Bodily fluid stains on comforters and sheets. No smoking sign stained yellow by smoke. Evidence of drug activity. Carpet made the bottom of my feet sticky. Door frame had been repaired from being kicked in. I slept in my clothes to minimize contact with the bed. In a word, horrible.

You get what you pay for. Small towels, average rooms and noisey disorderly guests.

Edit: I originally rated this hotel with two stars but since then roaches have been found in the bed and the maid service knocks on doors at 8am to clean the room and then threaten to not clean at all if you want to sleep in at all (clearly not a place to vacation). Avoid this place at all costs.

This property is dated, and was a Jameson INN prior to the sale. I have stayed here many times and know the front desk staff. The staff is experienced, knowledgeable and helpful. The free continental breakfast is better than most. The pool and fitness room are average. These are outside rooms, 2 stories and 2 buildings, and right behind a Cookout Restaurant. Lots of blue collar workers stay here during the week.

Rooms were o.k., they could use a facelift. Service was friendly an helpful and the location was great for where we needed to attend our function. I like a place that if I want to step outside my door for air then I can. This Inn is located in Greenwood SC.

This was our second visit to Greenwood and staying at the Baymont. I can't praise Vi and her team enough for her hospitality and kindness. ALL the team was over the top friendly and helpful. The room was showing some age and wear but was neat and comfortable. It was tended to in a timely manner and clean. They worked around our schedule for the four days we were staying there. The breakfast room was always stocked and exceptionally clean. If coffee or other items were running low or had ran out, they were refilled very quickly. We are in the process of moving to the Greenwood area and I see another stay at the Baymont coming real soon!
