Went there last night for my birthday, but did not get to eat. Was told that we would have to wait for 30+ minutes or could set at the bar. They had 2 empty tables with 12 chairs but was told that since it was just I and my wife we could not set at one of those tables. Good food if you can get it and it is pricey. Girl was rude did not apologize. No one makes food good enough that being treated like a second class citizen/garbage is worth that treatment to eat.
Their Lasagna is AMAZING!!! The staff is always so nice and helpful! I love the new location compared to the one they had on 6th street!
The food is great. Here comes the big "but". Their prices have gotten out of hand. Small plates are $10 to $12, and the cheapest entre is $18! It can also be hard to get a table as the restaurant is very small. If they brought the prices back down where they were a year or two ago, I would recommend it more, but there are too many better choices in Lawrence.
Food was quite tasty and freshly made. The Tortellini Cordon Bleu was yummy. Would have liked more vegetarian options on the lunch menu. More fresh, seasonal veg overall would be good.
-Extremely friendly and professional staff.
-Unforgettable decorations and atmosphere.
-Exquisite taste!
-A bit on the pricey side for what you get, but certainly worth the occasional visit for the taste and atmosphere.
This place has the best food and service. The food far exceeded the cost and it was amazing. Our party of 5 each got something different and not a single person was speaking because their food was so good that we were all in a trance. Wow. The meatloaf gets a 10. The mac and cheese gets a 10. The Chicken in Vodka sauce gets a 10 and the dessert was AMAZING! We had the deep fried banana bread and there is some serious love put into that. TOP NOTCH! You must go here. Run. Don't walk. Its worth every penny.
The food was delicious! The portions were large enough, that can easily be shared by two. We will definitely return.
Good food, friendly staff and great pasta at great prices
The best food in Lawrence. It's a very small restaurant that's always packed. They don't take reservations, but the wait is well worth it.
Amazing creative fabulous food, generous portions, always impressive.
One of my all-time favorites.
We lived in Northern Italy for 3.5 years before moving to Lawrence. This place has got to be the closest to authentic Italian pasta I have had this side of the Atlantic.
Well cooked and perfectly seasoned plates. A little on the pricey side, but well worth the cost. Highly recommended!
Delicious, fresh pasta and handcrafted cocktails. What more could you ask for? But seriously, their breadsticks are amazing.
