A true hidden gem of Kansas. Absolutely beautiful and serene. We have visited several large arboretums in large cities and they have nothing on the Bartlett Arboretum. It is almost like you have entered a little fantasy world. We'll definitely be back!

We went the Bartlett Arboretum Memorial Day to hear Robin Macy and the Cherokee Maidens. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. It made for a great day. There are concerts throughout the summer and fall (not August!) that we will go.

Wonderful place. Hard to believe it exists here. Takes a lot of magic for trees to grow that tall in the face of Kansas weather. Would be a beautiful location for wedding or other social event.

A most beautiful oasis in the plains of southern Kansas wheat country. Great views, events, historic trees, beautiful landscapes. Go to events page and attend one in 2017!

30 years ago today August 17, 1986 my husband and I had our fairy tale wedding at the Bartlett Arboretum. One of the best wedding venues. Absolutely spectacular.

It is an extremely important part of Kansas history. It is almost a hundred years old and has some extremely rare and record-breaking species of plants and trees. They have concerts in the summer and you can even get married there, and an extremely nice place to get away from everything, it's like a small National Park I recommend However they are only open by appointment or during special non private events.!!
