  My wife and I have been clients of Barrier Pest Services since 2009 (I'm writing this in April 2017). We work with them for our home's pest and termite control. We like Barrier because of their competitive pricing and we're happy with the quality of the service we receive (no bugs!). They're staff is friendly, professional, and arrives on time. We like that Barrier Pest is a locally owned business. Their services are tailored to the needs of Lowcountry homeowners. And as a bonus, this also means that our money is more likely to stay in (and be reinvested into) the local economy. Update: as of June 2022, we are still Barrier Pest clients.

  Kudos to Barrier Pest Services in being able to quickly conduct a CL-100 on a property my husband and I are selling; however, where they lack is providing a thorough job. Being a SC realtor, I was shocked to find out that when finding damage present in the crawlspace from wood destroying fungi, that there were absolutely no photos presented with the report to provide us with enough information on a possible quote on how much it'd cost to remedy the damage. I understand no pictures are needed when there is a clear CL-100 report, but I've never heard of a company who did not take photographs of anything that is flagged as damage or fungi to back their findings. When my husband reached out about photos taken, they responded that they do not take a camera in the crawlspace IN WHAT WORLD?! Even my home inspectors thought this was absurd. Because of the lack of a thorough job with Barrier Pest Services, my husband and I are out an extra ~$1,500.

  I have worked with Trip for inspections and treatment of several homes through the past few years. He's an expert and willing to share his knowledge, and they do a thorough job inspecting and treating. They have been able to get to me quickly when were notified late that we needed an inspection for a refinance, excellent service. Finally, their services are a good value. I'm a happy repeat customer and would highly recommend to everyone.

  I have been working with Barrier for the past three years. They stepped in when I first moved into my beach house and fixed a termite issue that the company the previous owner of the house was using essentially did nothing. Barrier was on it though and now they treat my house for bugs, have a solid termite prevention plan in place, treat for mosquitos and helped us out with a bedbug issue as well as mice. They are very responsive and the technician (Mike) that treats my house is friendly, professional, and provides good recommendation to prevent bugs and termites from getting into my house. The owner Trip was on-site multiple times during the termite eradication and is always easy to reach by phone. IF YOU WANT THINGS DONE RIGHT GO WITH BARRIER PEST SERVICES.

  Amazing Company !!!! I use Barrier Pest Services for all my pest needs. Trip and his licensed team of professionals are always able to accommodate our special concerns . They handle monthly maintenance , bed bugs checks, and any concerns from tenants with professionalism . We like to partner with local companies and this has been an extremely positive experience for us. Special shout out to Ronald one of the licensed Technicians who always goes out of his way for our tenants. We will continue to use Barrier Pet Services and Trip for all our pest needs.
