I really love the west side Barnes and Noble! They always keep it so clean and well organized. They have so many sections here, and even a Nook room! The cafe is cute and well maintained as well😊 the staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is organized much better than some I've been in. Don't expect to get out of here quickly though! There is too much to look at!
Great selection of books, music and toys. A little pricey compared to online outlets, but at least you can walk out with your stuff.
Really nice bookstore. Folks, we need to patronize this place because if it ever closes we will be doomed to only Amazon offerings, and it is nice to get your hands on the book, see it, and check the real thing out. You might save a few dollars on Amazon, but think of the carbon footprint that must leave compared to shopping locally. This is a real bookstore; we need to keep it going. And the management and staff do a very nice job here.
I tried to buy a book in store and they would not price match their own website.... After leaving B&N I purchased the book on Amazon for less and it has free 2 day shipping. Ohh, and the staff at B&N.. not helpful.
Amazon > Barnes and Noble
I tried to receive a refund for an accidental membership, and unfortunately the staff and store manager was not capable of doing so. I had to return to the store after being on the phone for 40 minutes because the “store manager” was incompetent and didn’t know how to process a simple return. She was rude, and as soon as I said I would call the complaint hotline, she mysteriously was able to process the return without an issue.
Internet quoted prices on Barnes and Noble are significantly different from in store price. 25 percent plus price difference between Internet price to store.
Relaxing atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, and close parking!
Barnes and Noble adds an atmosphere to the book - buying experience you can't get anywhere else. This one is better than most. Clean, spacious, and well-organized.
Staff was very helpful in locating a book. I like supporting local brick and mortar. Wish they would not ask me to pay for a discount. In the age of net driven sales they should offer frequent reader discounts in their stores.
The employees I work with are always pleasant and helpful. Recommendations are plentiful and though the locations and displays change, they are always happy to help navigate.
People that are there aren't very friendly people my grandson and I went in there for the first time people were very very ignorant would never go back there again
My most recent visit was a reminder of why I use Google and Amazon instead of shopping here. Up-selling and pressuring for my email address seems to get worse each time I visit. Complimentary gift-wrapping is nice, but the cashier did such a poor job that I need to rewrap the boxes -- they aren't even fully covered by wrapping paper.
