I had a blast found it on groupon. Went with friends and family for My birthday in may 2017. The place was beautiful and comfortable. I lost all my pictures of the apartment. Definitely will go again

Peaceful area, great location, free DVD rental with stay, super clean Villa. The price for a 2 bed, 2 bath, full kitchen was amazing reasonable. We'll definitely be back to stay.

We checked in on Sunday at Barefoot Yacht Villas 3-103A. I will start with the positives. The condo is very spacious and the resort is beautiful!! However, There was a condom and trash behind the bed, the comforters smelled like URINE, and I killed a cockroach!!! Now I will have to ensure I don't bring any of those pest home with us!!!
The whole unit stinks! Carpet is in need of changing!!! I had to buy air fresheners to be able to sleep in this place! There was food left in the garbage disposal which has caused a gnat issue along with the other creepy crawlers around here. I would have given this place 5 stars if it weren't for the smell and the pest issues. Fix it and this place would be the ideal location for a family vacation.

Our stay at Ironwood was okay. We were very disappointed because we arrived at 4pm, but didn't get into the condo until 6pm! The towels were very hard and dirty!! The king size bed had two twin mattresses. The sheets were on inside out!!! To top it offthere was a toenail on the floor which proved that the unit had not been cleaned!!! The only good thing about the property was the space and the outside commons area was well kept. Do not stay in unit 1312!!!

We had the most wonderful family vacation at Barefoot Resorts. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and very helpful and our sons loved watching the ducks in the ponds and walking down the streets. We can not wait to go back again!

Love this resort! Stayed here in 2009 but this time staying in a much better part of the resort, Edgewater. More up-to-date, great layout. Only sleeps 4, even though condo was booked for 5, so would've been an inconvenience if 5th person had come. But definitely going to be my choice from now on. And outlets, beach & good restaurants 10+ minutes away.

We have owned a condo here for over 10 years. It has always been a wonderful, safe, clean place to stay until recently. A new management company has taken over and turned the place into everything opposite of what it once was. Its packed with the most crude loud mouth blacks, to the point people can't take their kids to the pool and enjoy an evening. At night when the security guards leave, forget it. It's a straight ghetto. 20 blacks yelling, foul mouth F word every other word, kids unsupervised screaming running and fighting. You can watch them come in packs, 10 to a condo knowing full well there are way too many to be in one unit. A lady had to literally clean pieces of weave off her little girl that wrapped around her when she got in the pool. There is so much oil from their hair that it makes a rainbow in the light on the surface of the water. I literally have a picture of it if anyone wants to dispute this claim. Loud music, beat up cars, speeding through the condo parking lot, hanging around and gawking when you walk to your car. Very uneasy environment, people literally drive to take their trash bin instead of walking to the bin for the feeling of not being safe. They sit on the bike parking racks by the pool and smoke, throw cigarette butts on the ground. I don't even think some of them are even staying there, maybe someone who works there is giving the pass code to others so they can just go in. The management will rent to anyone now, must be in some financial problems. Renting them for dirt cheap, for anyone willing to take them. For whoever says this review is racist, the facts are the facts. My husband and I are a mixed race couple, so you can't pull that card with us. Blacks are dragging this place to the dirt. There have always been owners and visitors of every race to come and stay in barefoot, and all were respectable, civil, courteous and clean people. These broods coming in are not. It's unbelievable how bad this place has become. I'm here now, and live about 40 minutes away. It will just be an empty condo, im not going to be coming here often anymore, and its nearly impossible to sell them because of what a terrible environment this management group has created.

Beautiful place but when I arrived I could not open my door. Maintenance had to come and show me how to shake my way in. When I checked out turned in all my things and I was still charged for a pool pass that they finally figured they had. They said they gave me a refund but I have not received it and now no one is picking up the phones. I will not be staying here again.

Absolutely horrible, Amber at the front desk is very rude. Check in says 4pm, but she said it's actually 4-6pm. So if the room isn't ready, be warned. Oh, and when the room, "is ready," beware. The "villas" are dirty inside, there are crumbs all over, the furniture is in horrible shape. The curtains are ripped, our a/c didn't work. There was hair in the bathrooms, my children were totally disappointed. We finally got into our rooms at 8pm. All Amber said for the disaster is, "I don't know, all I do is give you keys, they don't tell us anything." First of all, who's they? Avoid at all costs, Management is nasty, and so are the rooms.

I wanted to love it. The pools were nice and the grounds are lovely but the service desk people are a little lacking in personality and their cleaning staff must be on strike. Our unit was FILTHY upon arrival. I swept several dustpans full of dust and sand off the master bedroom floor the night we arrived. Tv remotes were missing batteries, dishes were put away dirty, a.c. died three days in (must give them credit they fixed it immediately) worst of all were the beds and pillows. The master bedroom "king" was two mismatched twins shoved together! They were different heights!!! The pillows were pancake thin and OLD and the towels were worn and rough too. I probably would not stay again just because of the beds and pillows.

*update* still waiting for my deposit to be returned two weeks later, I've emailed twice and they are not responding.
