  About 75% of the way through the CAD program and they decided to stop teaching it. I'm out if luck unless I want to drive all the way to Flint. I already put 30k miles on my car a year I really don't want to add to it. The Auburn Hills campus is 5-10 minutes away from my job which worked great.

  Financial Aid is no help at all/ even with all they have to gain for the exorbinant price of tuition, they don't want to do anything to assist with obtaining financial aid. shame shame shame shame

  Put me so far into debt for many different student loans, obtained an associate's degree. but drowning in loan debt. I was only 19/20 at the time . they took advantage, BE CAREFUL

  Hey Veterans: Look elsewhere. If I could say no stars I would. They did not handle my benefits appropriately, nor at all. Your credits will not transfer here unless you sign up for TWO of their programs. Which is great, if you want a trash degree. Nice to see they accept credits from other institutions, but not from the Air Force? I have one semester left, they told me not to take many GE classes because my military credits will cover them. WRONG. So I now have to pay out of pocket to finish my degree, which is a semester away, for classes I was assured would be covered. Now they want me to use my VA benefits? Uh what and why would I squander my benefits for a semester? To admit someone's wrongdoing? Now I have serious debt because someone did not do their job. This is of course when I am now over the point of starting over, over 4 years of non stop hard work, yet still no degree. This is shameful to Veterans, considering I put my time in to earn those benefits. Honor and integrity does not exist in this institution, it's NOT military friendly. If you are in a program that is accredited, your credits will not transfer out. Officially stuck to this embarrassment until I can cough up the cash to finish.

  Teachers don't teach and sometimes treat you like your in high school. I'm going for management and some of the Course work doesn't have anything to do with the class. They don't give you a lot of financial aid money because they retention rate is very low 10% and graduation rate is even lower 4 %. Students that go here act like they have something stuck up there butts and the school doesn't feel like a college environment. If your a student of color this school is not for you as you can feel the prejudice atmosphere from the students. I was in one class and our instructor (not professor) put use into groups. They students who were white didn't even acknowledge me or listen to any of my suggestions for the group. I told the instructor about it and he said that his colleague did him the same way!!!! All they care about is your money run far away from this school. Go to a school that's going to give a real college experience that is more accepting to different kinds of people.

  I absolutely loved Baker College. I am in the Human Services program and I planned to go to Wayne State to receive my MSW. I loved the teachers, and I loved how helpful and caring all the staff was. HOWEVER, I have recently found out after a year and a half of school that if you take full time classes you will still not receive a bachelor's in Human Services for SIX YEARS. Make sure you know what your getting into instead of just assuming a bachelors will take four years.

  I only used this campus as a testing center for the A+ and Network+ exams, and they were quick and efficient at getting me into the testing room and working on the exam. I've had a few occasions where post exam the proctor had left, and I was left unaware of what papers and what not I still needed.

  Don't GO here!!! The"professors" are robbing students of their education! The Government should re-analyze the disbursements of financial aid. Half the professors aren't qualified to teach the students. Most colleges require a MBA with an association of direct work experience via their resume. My husband took an Engineering CAD course and the "professor" just graduated from Baker with an Associate's degree. Seriously!!
  
  I took a DEV Plan class with an Accountant professor. She was okay until you could literally feel her reaching to teach the class. At that point after owning a few businesses, I knew she didn't know what she was talking about in terms of the outline for the class. When I spoke to my adviser, word got back to the professor. On the night of attending class, I asked about my grades and next she freaked out on me! She was screaming and yelling things at me like I think I'm better than everyone, who are you to tell me what I can do etc.! I felt she was a bit threatened because I have attended college before and speak very well might I add. But I was so shocked!
  
  After filing a teacher's complaint to the VP Dean/Director about professor of my program nothing was done about it. I was shocked again. Looking at my grades as a current business owner after completing this course, I could tell them "professor" disliked me just as much as I hate the school.
  
  My husband and I are an active duty military family and are humble people. We go the mile to help anyone. So I leave this here. If you go here, you will regret it. Save your financial aid money and go to a university that has more options.
