My husband and I took some friends here. We waited over an hour (not exaggerating) for quesadillas and nachos. The food was not even hot when it finally arrived. Not wanting to say anything in front of our friends, we walked them out to their car and then decided to go back in and give some feedback to the manager. On our way back in, there was an employee sitting on the stairs rocking back and forth and he looked like he was definitely high on something. I asked him if he was ok and he said, “There’s a leprechaun in my stomach!” (No, I am not joking.) When we found the manager, he was too busy changing the channel on the tv to even listen to our feedback about his restaurant. When I brought up his drugged out employee on the stairs, he finally put the remote down and stormed off to go find him. This was the worst food and worst service we have ever experienced in a restaurant. We tell everyone we know, who goes to Frisco or Breck, not to go here.

When visiting a brewery, I often ask the bartender or waiter for their recommended beer. Something new, unusual, or their current favorite. Most bartenders are enthusiastic to offer their suggestions. The bartender gave me an amber, the most generic and over served of all craft beers. Didn't offer a menu, or even check to see if I wanted another when I finished the first. So I had the one, and left. Never to darken their doorstep again, unless I start to hear that they've made an amazing turnaround. And from reading the other reviews, my experience is not unique.

Saw the reviews about slow and inattentive service so I was a little reluctant. We ate in the bar and our server was Kelly G. Five Stars for Kelly. We seated ourselves in the bar. Kelly greeted us immediately, took our drink and food orders, brought our drinks, delivered our salads all in a timely fashion. She checked in on us just after our pizza was delivered from the kitchen. She checked in on us several times during the remainder of our visit. Very attentive and very friendly. Pizza and octoberfest beer were very good.

This place seems to be going downhill. I've been several times and really enjoy their beer and they have good food, but the customer service just gets worse and worse. The waiters are usually nonexistent and not that friendly.

Great beer- very smooth - love the Switchback Amber. The pizza was also very good. They were a little slow, but they comped me a beer so all is well.

The pizza and beer were great but the service was definitely lacking. I loved the imperial saison, and the lumberjack was an awesome manly pizza.
When we arrived, we were told it would be 20 minutes before we could be seated, even though the place was mostly empty. Our waitress seemed to forget things, and I never got a beer I ordered. It took a while for her to check on us, and without giving me a chance to ask about my beer, she handed us a stack of 12 receipts (for 4 people) and let us sort out the mess.response / report this review -

great place to have a beer if you´re in Frisco, their fish and chips is awesome and totally great price for it. beers could be better but for the price they are good, nice presentation and everything

I had some sort of plate full of amazing fried catfish and other foods, accompanied by a flight of beers. If I didn't have to drive back to the Denver area I would have enjoyed another flight of beers. It was that good.

Building is nice and the service was good though not busy. Went in Apres ski and had a beer and an app. The IPA had a yeast off flavor ( i know from wrecking my own home brew). Another thing that kind of pissed me off was my wife likes pretzels and the menu said they were made in house. If you want me to believe that pretzel was made in house then I have a bridge up the street I want to sell you.

Terrible service happens sometimes. Especially with larger parties, it's not always easy remembering orders. But what separates a good waiter from a bad one is the ability to take ownership and apologize. There were at least (no exaggeration) 10 big mistakes on orders, and the blame was even put on the customer on several occasions. Just say sorry. It's much more genuine.
Food however was sub par. The famous chili was bland, and the chicken Alfredo was incredibly dry and lacked flavor. Great beer though.response / report this review
