My husband order a drift trike axel set. During the shipping process (that we paid 2 day air for) the axle slipped through the box so when we got it, we did not have an axle. The company promised to 2nd day air it again and we still have not received it and have not been able to get through to anyone to ask about it. Why do you not put a little extra cardboard to keep it from slipping out and why are we promised that you'll replace it and it'll be here in 2 more days but not follow through with that? Now we have paid almost $400 And still do not have the main piece needed. We ordered on a friday, and now it is the following sunday of the next week and we still do not have all the part. You may have good customer service on the phone but what does that mean if you do not do what you promised the customer? If it does not get sent out when promised then common courtesy is to contact that customer to inform them.

My first few purchases went smooth. My last attempt, not so much. I was looking for seats and had found some I liked so I added them to my cart. When I saw what the shipping was calculated at I decided there had to be a glitch in the system so I called, got a reasonable shipping quote so I placed the order. The next day I received a call from BMI stating they needed more money for shipping. Needless to say I had to cancel that order. I now go to buggy depot for all my kart needs and wants.

I can't say exactly how fast everything will be because I haven't ordered all my parts yet, but on the website the customer service answers every question fully with appropriate links and information. They have put so much work into making their catalog interconnected so everything can be easily found. I am working on an internship to design a Solar vehicle and BMI is the only place to find specific parts without exorbitant pricing. I'm constructing a full vehicle and about 90% of the parts I can't build will be coming from BMI because of how well marked their products are. Once the car is built I'll be sure to send them some pictures. I'll probably even put a their sticker on the vehicle. I'm looking forward to many more years and vehicles from BMI. Thank you for putting so much effort into your website.

I will never deal with Bmi again I had a terrible experience. I ordered some go kart parts and was told shipping was no problem but after they took my money then said that shipping was a problem. Now I have to wait to get my money back and it's to bad because I was going to tell everybody about them. I forgot to mention that I was never contacted by phone about my shipping issue I was just sent an email and never saw it till a week later when I looked into it to see where my parts were. I had to call them and find out what was going on and then the woman I talked to wasn't helpful. After I canceled my order she was rude and I haven't heard anything about my refund yet.

This review is based on purchasing their go kart and drift trike parts. The shipping is a little pricey but they have parts for amateurs to professionals and are always good quality. Shipping is quick and I've never had a problem with customer service.
