I have been here for multiple special occasions booking through Open Table. It has always been a top notch experience from the moment the valet opened our doors for us up until the end. The popover's they give you instead of regular bread are so good and fluffy. The ribeye steak is amazing and all the sides are really good. I don't think I have ever ordered anything I did not like from here and I have never had a bad customer service experience ever. On Mother's Day it actually was not crowded at all for Brunch and we really enjoyed that. This place has class and style.

Excellent experience. The service is outstanding. The food is among the best I have ever had. My husband and I had tuna tartar for an appetizer, I had the salmon with hen of the woods as a side, my husband had lamb with ricotta gnocchi and bacon corn salad. The popovers were awesome, as well as the grilled bacon. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special meal!

Follow-up to the review below Following my initial review, Scott, the GM at BLT Steak, contacted me. He was very professional and took full responsibility for our horrible first time at BLT. He admitted that it was a transitional time for them and wanted to make it up to me, my wife, and our two close friends. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hostess who took us right to our table. We were then greeted by the manager on duty, Sebastian, who took great care of us all evening. Scott, the GM, even came by to see us, right after his round of golf. He just wanted to check in and make sure all was going well. The bottom line is the food was unbelievable, the service was spectacular, our overall experience was perfect. They really have it together, complete 180 from our first experience. BLT Steak is back on the list of best restaurants in Charlotte. If you haven't been, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Initial Review: The absolute worst brunch we have ever had! It was us and two other tables, I asked for syrup for my French toast, the sever looks at me and says, “give me a second, I am very busy!!!” Not to mention the food came out cold, I asked for a screwdriver and the same server said “I can’t find the vodka, what else do you want?!?” Horrible experience, the Ritz should be embarrassed for associating themselves with BLT Steak.

My husband and I came for dinner. The atmosphere is nice however the food was mediocre. My husband had the ribeye it was good but I've had better. I had the lamb it too was good but didnt wow me and the size was quite small compared to the many steak houses we have been to in the area. The sides are not family sides really not ment to share. My husband and I had about 2 small table spoon sized portion of our jalapeno mash potatoes. They forgot our other side but automatically took it off our bill( we never asked for that. ) Our server gave us the wrong salad we asked for wedge we got something else it was ok in taste , basic flavor with the vinegret

Over all it was nice to have a date night with my husband but we were not impressed and that will be our last visist to BLT.

I prefer Capital Grill and Ruths Chris over this place.

Yum!! The braised short ribs were phenomenal 😋 Low key atmosphere, friendly waiter. Oh and their popovers before dinner were terrific. Also very accommodating, I have to be dairy free right now and they made sure everything was done without butter etc, they also made me a dessert not offered on the menu since all their listed desserts had dairy. Thanks BLT, we'll be back!!

Manager came to our table 2-3 times and never acknowledged is just grabbed plates but I witnessed him speak to several other patrons. I tried to keep it simple with a BLT but it was not good at all. I will say I dined here in the past and I love the lobster Cobb salad.

Have been here once for lunch which was very delicious and service was fair. However, came in for dinner recently and was given stale, old, ice tea and when asked the waiter for new tea he was offended that I asked. Not very good cocktail menu either.

We really enjoyed this place. I had to attend a work meeting and came here for drinks, then stayed for dinner with work co-horts. I have to say the service was spectacular, and the server really presented everything well. I of course had to have the steak, it was really good - when I asked them to do it medium, it actually WAS medium - not medium rare, etc. Really well done.

My one complaint is that the floor space seemed slightly cramped but really not overly so, it gets a bit noisy for a place of this caliber, but short of that, it was an excellent experience. We will definitely be back again, there is really little they can do to make it better than it is.
