Pros: air boat ride, swamp buggy ride, snake show, gator show, lots of wildlife, northern tip of the everglades
Cons: out in the middle of nowhere (could be a pro), overpriced diner food (probably due to lower traffic because of location)
This is a nice getaway spot. Plenty of wildlife and the staff seems a bit "wonky" but in a fun way. The diner food was pretty good for what we expected, but overpriced for the quality. The air boat and buggy rides were amusing and fun, but was a bit of a buzzkill that staff captains seemed to work for tips. All in all this place is nice and we look forward to returning soon!response / report this review -

Great fun for the family. Good place to try it all out (airboat and swamp buggies) and see the local wildlife as well as some not so local. Pleasant atmosphere from the staff, good food and prices in the restaurant

Great place to escape for a free hours. Haven't been on any of the swamp rides but the zoo and nature trail are top notch. Love this place. Will return for sure

Excellent experience! I've been to a few other Everglades parks and this one was the best. The buggy tour is undeniably the best attraction. We had captain Tanya, she was awesome! She had a very good knowledge of the Everglades and the animals and plants we saw on the tour. She was also upbeat and funny, she definitely kept the tour interesting. We also had her for the airboat ride, which was also fun! I would recommend this place to anyone from out of town, but make sure you get captain Tanya!

Just finished the Safari with our scouts. Amazing facility and staff. The swamp buggies were so much fun, we did a buggy ride in the morning and late night! Loved the airboats, they are the smaller ones which are much faster. The whole experience feels much more intimate than other Everglades experiences. Sleeping chickies were clean, with fresh sheets, and a fan. Last but not least the animals! From wolves, bears, bobcats, otters, and our favorite Gators, not to mention the most interactive animal show I have ever seen! Highly recommended.

This place was fun and beautiful. There restaurant is nice and clean with good food. We were very impressed with the Indian fry bread, chicken strips and gator. We would love to go back and try the swamp buggy!

This place far exceeded my expectations, and expectations were high! I will be recommending this place to all friends and family as a truly unique experience! We did the twilight expedition, and our Guide was Cisco ( request him , trust me). The evening started with him telling stories that have been passed down by Seminoles for generations. This guy is truly one of the best story tellers I have ever heard and was entertaining, and it was an honor to get insight into the Seminole culture.The kids loved it. Then we went on the swamp buggy tour on which he taught us so much about everything from the unique history to the diverse plants and animals of the habitat. You can experience Florida's pristine beauty up close and personal, and the swamp buggy gives you access to terrain that would other wise be inaccessible. I am a native Floridian and an active duty combat soldier and this is one of the coolest things I've done. Plus the kids will remember this experience their entire life. If you want to experience true Florida, skip Disney and go for the twilight expedition. It was well worth it and we will be returning

Great place ! Everyone was very friendly especially Tanya , the buggy tour guide she was cheerful and funny. another great person was patty the ex sheriff she was funny and her partner was very nice as well. Overall great people ,great place .well worth your bucks! the tours last a while it's not a quick ride through the Everglades and the shows are also great.

This is a tough review because the staff are very dedicated to providing the best experience but the unmaintained areas surround the maintained area. It is easy to see that at one point this establishment was an attraction level destination on par with any to be found inside of the Orlando area but for whatever reason is reducing in size without maintenance or updating. That being said, the areas that are being maintained are well groomed and the staff are top-notch. I would highly recommend visiting once but no one I spoke with would ever return for a second encounter within the year.

A Glimpse of the Everglades.
I am Floridian and yet never visited before now. My Harley-loving husband felt like a Harley ride on Snake Road so we decided to check this out. Snake road goes through the reservation (Seminole Tribe) so the ride itself is pretty interesting to see all the infrastructure of the reservation such as the senior care and the community center.
We both had very low expectations thinking that the park would just be a couple of air boats and maybe some alligator wrestling or something. Turns out this park was much bigger than we realized (not huge, just bigger than our expectations). They had animals from all around the world (which did seem odd so this is not necessarily a true Florida experience but it does add some more interest). We took the short air boat ride (I believe it was about 20 minutes) which is where you see a more natural Florida (plus some exotic animals the park felt they needed to add and the channel may be man-made however the Indians did make channels through the mangroves even before the white men arrived). I included a photo from the ride because it was just so beautiful, so serene. We plan to return to check out the swamp buggies. This park did not necessarily make any references to the Indians and their connection to the land, especially of being the true Florida natives however there is a museum one passes to get to this park which does make the connection and so I would recommend that also for a more complete picture.response / report this review -

Prices very reasonable. Air boat ride is strictly for the opportunity to ride an air boat not for sight seeing. Buggy ride was very interesting but the animals in the area have been brought in so not animals that are indigenous to the area. Instead animals from Africa. The best part was the nature walk which, when I was there, no one seemed to be aware of. It is a boardwalk that goes through dense growth of the Everglades. There I was able to spot alligators in the wild, snakes and interesting flora. A bit scary since the growth is so think and it is all around and over the walkway.

This place to too awesome. Everything about it is amazing. Get a ride on the swamp buggy just before sunset. You will get a spectacular view of the swamp lands and the sun setting. It was breathtaking. The critter show was very cool. So much history here
