I'm very surprised at the bad reviews posted. My husband and I moved to Mt. Airy in 2008, and B & L Custom Jewelers is the only jewelry store we shop at. We came from a big city, and frankly we thought we would not find a decent jeweler here in such a small town. Brandt has sized some rings for me that other shops said it couldn't be done. I've purchased products also, and Brandt is professional, friendly and all work is done on time, or before. He always has time to chat while my husband and I are in the shopand he loves CATS! Plus our boy Bob Dylan thinks he's pretty nice toobut seriously, you could not want a better or more knowledgeable jeweler in the town of Mt Airy, or in North Carolina.

I was very surprised to find bad reviews about this store! I have found the customer service to be excellent.

I recently moved to Mt. Airy and went to B & L Jewelers when I needed some jewelry repair. I found the owner to be a delightful person - we had a nice chat after I explained the repair I needed. The repair was done accurately and was completed when promised. Since then I have made several purchases at this store, and have always been treated kindly and respectfully. The owner has been very accommodating when I wanted minor changes/additions to some of the jewelry I have bought.

I recently left an item to be fixed at this jeweler. He acted as though I was an idiot because I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted since I don't wear a lot of jewelry. He made me feel completely stupid and my fiancee was about to punch his lights out. I am not sure how he stays in business with an attitude like that. Once I receive my jewelry back from him I will not be going back to this business.

I have had very poor experiences with this jeweler. The owner was extremely rude and did not provide adequate customer service. I will never shop here again.
