Such a great place to take kids. They have alot of history to teach the kids about Monroe. I went during the fall season and it was beautiful out there. Lots of pumpkin the kiddies can choose from.

I've been going to aw shucks for years now! So much fun. Would recommend to anyone! The staff is always nice and polite. Also they put on a great haunted trail as well. Keep up the good work aw shucks!

Awesome farm with fun activities for kids and adults! The corn maze and pumpkin patch are great, there is also a little petting zoo with the cutest animals! To top it off the employees are really sweet! I always recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to take their kids or even just themselves for a fun afternoon!

I am extremely disappointed in the way this farm treats their animals. I used to come here with my family when I was little and thought it was the coolest thing ever but I went tonight and saw and heard the most awful things from these animals and the owner was rude to me and the people I was with. First we walked into the barn where they keep the bunnies the cages were not big enough and it didn't look like they ever let them out based on the bunnies' behavior; 80% of a rabbits diet is hay, none of them had any hay in their hutches and were only fed brown pellets and way more than they should be given at a single time. The next awful thing was the goats. They had adequate room to live but one of them had kennel cough and it seemed like it had been going on for a while, this brought me to tears; needless to say I will not go back and spend another $18 here EVER again, I would advise you all to take the same action, this was an awful experience for me.

VERY cute place! Very friendly and helpful staff. Great place to take the children. We had a lovely afternoon with the grandchildren. Corn maze was fun.

The one downside for us was that the location is only accessible by country roads. No ready access to interstates.

This place is definitely one of a kind, and great for all ages! They have an animal barn with many animals to see and learn about, there is a corn maze that changes every year (It is very well kept and tall so you actually get the real feel that you are lost!), the kids area has many interesting amenities, and they even have FOOD! The food is great very festive and you never have to wait too long. This is the closest place to a fair that is much less expensive. I recommend at least visiting once in October when they have their haunted trail open, which has improved greatly year by year. See you guys on the farm!

This place continues to grow and is very organized. When we first came here it was a corn maze with a few other things to do. Now it still has a great corn maze, but also has live music, a restaurant, an old fashioned soda shop, a Christmas shop and more activities for kids. It's ran pretty smoothly for the amount of people that are there. This will soon be a seasonal "must do" for families from all over NC.

Aw Shucks is a great place for a family outing. Kayla and Kirsten Tucker where so helpful when we visited Au Shucks. Ila Perkins is very knowledgeable about trains. The grounds at Aw Shucks are very clean. All the staff where super friendly and willing to help and provide a great family Autumn experience! I would highly recommend anyone that is looking for a family outing to visit Aw Shucks

My family had such an amazing time. Everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. We loved the train car and the guy that was there was so impressive with what he knew and making it such a fun time. We stayed for the haunted trail and had a blast!! The farm was a fabulous experience and we will definitely recommend it to our friends and coworkers.
