Nice place with lots to check out. They are somewhat picky on what they will accept, but this leads to better inventory.

I love thrift store shopping, but hate certain things about it. First is that somewhere like Goodwill you can search for an hour and never find something your size. The Atlanta Mission is not like that, they have everything sorted by size to make it easy to find. The second is that some stores you are paying less than if you bought it new, but you are still paying way too much for used clothing. I'm not paying $15 for worn jeans or $30 for used boots. The Atlanta Missions has reasonably priced clothing and it is easy to find.

Very friendly staff. The most friendly of all the thrift stores in town. I go thrift shopping every other day and I will tell you many of them are not very friendly! (Not sure why?)
The ladies here all act like they are happy to be there. Very pleasant attitudes, which is contagious! I always leave feeling uplifted.
Well organized store. Inventory is restocked daily. I always find something new. (Some of the other thrift stores in the area I only visit every few weeks because they always seem to have the same stuff.) They have a lot of newer clothing. (As well as some cool vintage items, but mostly new and very good brands.) Thrift shopping is something I do for fun and I collect many things. I never leave Atlanta Union Mission empty handed!
