The upscale Irish pub of Kenosha, if you are looking to get away from the usual dives for an evening. The atmosphere and courteous staff is the best part of any visit here, which make you feel welcomed and at peace. I have occasionally come here on my own, with just a book to read, and chatted with the bartenders. Especially with its spot right on the harbor, it is perfect for a summer night, sitting out on the small patio. The drinks are definitely overpriced, in line with its upscale atmosphere, but it is worth it every once in a while.

The food was delicious & the server was amazing. She knew the menu & was very attentive to us. We celebrated a birthday & she made everything special. The scotch was top shelf Bevalnie.recommended by our server.Great night all the way!

What a disappointment. I was so looking forward to try this place based on their reviews.Well, the only one good thing about it was the location ! The root soup - carrots, sweet potatos and leek, I love leek and was looking for the taste of it, let me tell you there was no leek in this soup, it was more like tasteless baby food than anything else.and the biscuit that came with it had some kind of seed that didn't belong there, unbaked or dried ! Stone hard ! The drunken mushrooms were just blah, I would not order again. Service was a joke, I think our waiter was there by mistake, in my opinion one of the worst !!! Almost like he was doing us a favorite to serve us ! Sorry Ashling I hope you will approve your food and service but for now, we won't be coming back !!!

Absolutely amazing corned beef on the Reuben. Huge portion and good coffee. Nice atmosphere. Definitely worth the drive to Kenosha.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The meatloaf is very good. They often have trivia nights or live music. It can be pretty noisy, but it's always been a fun time.

I just attended a 70th birthday party at Ashling on the Lough. It has been there for several years. It has a stellar location, right on the marina, gorgeous view. The food has always been good, traditional Irish fare. But tonight was fabulous. The executive chef, Justin Rains, out did himself as did the rest of the staff. The food was outstanding, fresh, interesting and delicious. I will be retuning to Ashling on the Lough as often as possible and I recommend it to everyone.

I have mixed feelings about this establishment. I want to love it, but I've had issues in the past (2014). Decided to give it a try again recently, and was very happy with the experience.

The meals and appetizers are delicious, with substantial portions. The price point is reasonable considering the quality and environment. And the drink choices include wonderful beers, liquors, and wine.
