Wow. I’m so happy I was able to do the sunset tour this time visiting ptown. Awesome drivers, great info about the dunes and the shacks that you wouldn’t know otherwise. If your visiting ptown and haven’t done this, make this one of your top to-do’s!

Tours are fairly short but interesting. Been to the area a dozen times and this is the first dune tour I took. It was worth it. Very comfortable vehicles for the tour.

Such a beautiful and unique experience! We booked the sunset tour. They have a fleet of SUVs at the office in Provincetown, everyone is given a tour group and piles in. After a short drive, you turn off the main road to the dune trail- only park rangers and Art's vehicles are allowed to drive here.
The ride is bumpy but fun, and our guide had great knowledge on the history, flora and fauna of the dunes. At the crest of one of the last big dunes before you hit the ocean, the tour stopped for pictures and the guides were happily willing to snap pics for everyone.
Then we headed down to the ocean and an amazing beach (which we had to ourselves because, again, no one is allowed there). The sand was super fine and the ocean blue and crisp. Everyone waded into the waves and had a great time while the guides set up chairs for everybody. Then we all sat and ate (you can bring your own food and drink with you, we brought cheese and crackers and some beer!) while we watched the sun go down. Some seals swam along the shore and we could see a whale spouting in the distance! Guides joked and talked and never made us feel rushed to leave.
Unique, interesting, beautiful and relaxing- if you're in the Provincetown area it's definitely worth a go.

Fantastic Dune Tour! Our guide Peter was full of knowledge and information of the history of the dunes, his personality shone through. We did the Sunset Tour with dinners. The meals were great also, the barbecues and clambakes were tasty, filling, and the perfect compliment to the tour. Rob, the owner of Arts Dune Tours welcomed us upon arrival and set the tone for the tour. Robs dad Art (The founder ) would be proud of Robs dedication and commitment to customer service and keeping his top notch business alive. This certainly won't be our last tour, we'll be back again with friends and family. A tip of the hat and a lift of the glass to Rob and Peter for a perfectly memorable evening.

Wife and I took the daily tour (1hr) and had a great time. George L. was a great guide and provided a continuous narrative about the history wildlife and ongoing preservation.

Would recommend this to anyone . Great views awesome staff and a chance to see a unique part of Cape Cod .

This is a delayed review, but my wife and I had a wonderful experience with Art's Dune Tours last September. You are quickly taken into another world once you get off the road and into the dunes and it is simply beautiful! We will be back again next year for sure and have recommended Art's Dune Tours and their wonderful staff to several friends and relatives.

When your are ready for an amazing tour of Ptown that is off the beaten path of Commercial Street look to Art's Dune Tour. The Team there is friendly, diverse and truly professional. Went on the Land and Lake Tour which was an amazing combination of history, geography and ecology with a great dash of fun and humor. The kayak tour on Pilgrim Lake was super fun and quite the unexpected workout!!! Many thanks to Rob, Rob, George and Ali for a memorable experience one we look forward to repeating next year!!!!!!

It was well run and the guide was knowledgeable, but I was hoping for more time to interact with the dunes. If you're able, I'd recommend the hike on Snail Trail (park where Snail Rd. intersects with 6) instead.

I wasn't sure what to expect and thought it might be too touristy but it was an amazing experience. The guides are so knowledgeable and truly love the dunes. We did the sunset dune tour, beach bonfire and clam bake and it's now my favorite activity to do with friends and family. What a truly special and memorable experience! A must-do when in Provincetown.
