I had lunch here yesterday with a friend. We ordered 1 fountain drink ($4.25!!!!), a grilled chicken sandwich with fries, and a Denver omelette. The fries were awesome! The Denver omelette is not made with cheese?!?! You must add it on for an extra cost. The hash browns that came with the Denver were cold and portion size sucked. Pricing is WAY TOO HIGH for what you get! Grilled chicken sandwich and omelette for $55? I'll make my way down to Dupars! Better bang for the buck!

We drove two hours to go to the Hollywood Bowl and called in our order to Art's. I ordered two "rare" roast beef sandwiches that were NOT RARE at all and the rye was sad. I asked for chips and added a bag for my husband. When we picked up the order, I was shocked to see two bags of fresh deep-fried chips at the ridiculous price of $9.00 a bag!! Nearly $20 more on the bill for something I DID NOT ORDER. It was a creepy trick and so wrong. No disclosure about what the chips were and the price! So back to Greenblatt's who actually SERVE RARE ROAST BEEF and don't rip people off intentionally. Shame on you!!

Love this place. I had the Rem mi's favorite sandwich. It was delicious. It definitely hit the spot. I also had a great conversation with the sandwich's namesake. Thank you guys for opening up in Leimert Park. We have so unhealthy choices our neighborhood. Your place is a refreshing vacation from the norm. I hope to healthy options available in the neighborhood soon!

I love this place! The food is really good and the service is great! The only reason for the low rating is because it is wayyyyy too expensive. I'm from New York. We love a good Reuden. The sandwiches here are great, but they should not be more than $11. I got a Matzoball soup once for $20!! That is just absolutely ridiculous.

Service was great! Would not recommend the skirt steak or the grilled salmon. I didn't enjoy the over seasoning of the steak (tasted like pure salt) or the bland vegetables. The baked potato tasted like sweet potato. The salmon was extremely dry.

I would recommend the onion rings one of the best I've had. Their soups and bagels are also phenomenal.

The service is really just great! Loved my server he was so sweet and very helpful.

In summary I would recommend staying away from the overpriced steaks and salmon and stick to their sandwiches and soups.

The food at Art's is great. Decent NY Deli food as far as it goes for a West Coast establishment. Yes, the prices are a tad steep, but it's Studio City, so what do ya expect. The service was quick and friendly. Will return.

I Eat at Art's Twice a Week or More!

What can you say about one of the last of the real delis? It's still the under the original family ownership. They tend to every customer like they are part of their own family. Huge portions. The closest to New York you'll get west of the Mississippi. Art's is the original, and still the best.

My work travels takes me to fine dining places and delis to meet clients. My number one choice is Art's Deli!

Without exception -- and this includes all the famous delicatessens in Beverly Hills and on Fairfax -- Art's serves up the best over-stuffed sandwiches in the LA area for the same $. Bread is always the freshest, meat always moist, tender and the finestand you don't HAVE to have a lean corned beef sandwich if you don't like it that way. Art's brisket is worth the trip alone. All the pickles you want and lots of Dr. Brown's flavors. Chopped liver is second to none. I've been eating in Art's since the 70's and always find an excuse to go back. Service is efficient and attentive.

Wonderful pastrami. And wonderful matzo ball soup -- full of ingredients, and the matzo ball is the size of a softball. By far the best deli in the valley or the city.
