Dont ever buy at Art Van . I bought the 5 yr.extended warranty and after 1 yr the leather started separating. They said not covered. The power recline on the sofa wont return to full upright position. They said not covered. I said ok after the 5yr warranty is up I will just wait for my refund.They said sorry now that you called us you used up your warranty..NO REFUND even tho no warranty payment was ever made. Another furniture company in town told me the leather separating issue has been going on for some time now with Art Van and also they should not be ADDING ON warranty programs to furniture that ALREADY has factory warranty. I had to give them 1 star or I could not even post this. I will shop at local furniture stores that dont charge for delivery and stand behind their products.

Rebecca N has better taste than most! Joy to work with her! Breath of fresh air to step back from the typical gaudy look of the midwest and find some pieces that actually look attractive! I was warned, so blaming no one but myself. Purchased a recliner and loveseat 4 years ago for $1,800 from ArtVan in Petoskey . I work 12 hour days at the hospital and live alone. Point being, the furniture got minimal use. 4 years later, the furniture is pure junk! Got tired if looking at it so had to pay to have it hauled to the dump. My advice, stay away from ArtVan. It will actually save you money to spend more with a reputable dealer that sells quality.
Northern Michigan choices are few but there here.

I bought a living room set there in July 2012. It is a Rigley reclining sofa. Biggest piece of junk I have ever bought. All of the leather covering is flaking off. Not just on the seat, but on the headrest. Who ever heard of the leather flaking off in big chunks from a headrest. Very poor quality.
