This place is great and the owners are fantastic people. I've been here my whole life. Don't listen to Mr. Stump's review. His drunken female companion decided to try to start a fight and lost. Which is well documented by witnesses and the local police. (No dogs were injured in the writing of this review, or during the incident referred to.)

The owner of the store is a awful person..a lady was outside his store abusing a dog and one of our friends said something to hernext thing you know he jumps in my wife's face and tell her to shut her mouthshe wasnt involved.. she is a veteran and an RN!! We will never stop at his establishment again. What kind of person defends a woman who abuses animals and the is verbally abuse to a stranger not even involved..

When calling to check availability attendant was very rude. He did not even let my fiance finish his sentence before shutting him down. Due to our bad experience we will NOT ever be calling back or recommending our friends there. It takes 5 seconds to be polite!

Beautiful scenery, great location on the river, well-run campground. Connie and Bill (owner/operators) are great people and work hard to keep the place nice and running smoothly. Highly recommended.
