I've been to AZITTS a few months back for teletherapy sessions. I was in depression for a long time and developed suicidal thoughts. Like everyone, initially I got suspicious and want to make sure that I was going in the right direction. So I've asked for the certification, and they were ready to provide me. I've cross verify the things.
Since my first session, I received full attention without any unearned guilt and without any judgment. My provider listen to me carefully in every session. She helped me through difficult times of my life though it wasn't easy for me. I can give all credit to my therapist. Thank you for all you do.
I've been following AZITTS on social media and really impressed with their posts. Initially, I'm in confusion, but finally booked my online session with Dr. Medina for the first time two days back. I found it really helpful. Hopefully it goes well in the future as well.
Words are not enough to express how thankful I am for their courteous service. The level of professionalism they keep in place while diagnosing and treating the patients is just on par. Dr. Medina is the best in town. Excellent job👍
After being referred to Shannon Shumway by 3 people my daughter (first one in the family of four that were planning on going to see her), called to make her appointment. The FIRST appointment was made as an in-office visit. You expect to see your doctor the first time in person, right? Received confirmation notice 24 hours prior that it was a virtual. So she canceled, called back and reset another appt. SECOND confirmation notice comes through as a virtual appointment, so she calls the office and explains that she needs to come in office for various concerns that would be difficult to diagnose over zoom. The office staff CONFIRMS the appointment. 6 hours later she shows up for said CONFIRMED appointment, did I mention she drove from Peoria to Mesa for this appointment because she came with such a high recommendation. As her appointment time nears, she hears the office staff whispering her name, only to have someone come over and tell her the doctor left for the day with a family emergency. NO CALL TO CANCEL. NO CALL TO RESCHEDULE. NOTHING. They asked if she wanted to reschedule, she said no. Something along the lines of fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. NOT taking the chance of a third time. You think we would be done? NO!!! They took it upon themselves to schedule her an appointment today. When she called to cancel they told her the doctor wanted to talk to her over the phone and get her established. NO THANK YOU! Now we wait to see if they charge her card they made her place on file for a "No-Show". I would steer FAR FAR away from this practice. Very unprofessional. ZERO customer service. FULL of excuses. I do hope that Shannon sees this review to understand that inorganization on your behalf cost you a family of four new patients. Potentially more. Good luck building your new practice.
Friendly kind and attentive. They got me in ASAP and were able to diagnose and treat promptly. Dr.Kamau is kind and really listened to my symptoms, she was willing to change meds quickly when I had side effects.
