We just adopted our newest family member there on Saturday and it was such a positive experience. They worked with me to find a dog who was a good fit for my family and they were wonderful in helping us introduce our new dog and current dog beforehand to make sure they got along. The facility is gorgeous and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend if you are looking for a new pet. Adopt, don't shop!!
We've adopted 3 cats from the humane society. They treat the animals well and make sure to find good homes for them.
I can't say enough about these folks. I have two dogs, one of which, has had ongoing health problems. I have taken her from the fanciest surgeons in North Scottsdale to your middle of the road vets and across the spectrum. For both of my dogs, I have never received better care than what these folks provide! Competent, compassionate, and just generally highly qualified folks you can trust with your furry family member. If you are in the Phoenix area this is your go-to place for your pets!
I looked into many rescues and reviews. I decided to go to humane society after finding Amy (now Trixie). I could let she well taken care of and loved by the staff. I would recommend anyone to this shelter and the prices at the supply store are fair and a goes back to the shelter. So happy with my experience.
My technician Heather was the most compassionate, caring person I've ever met. I was so sad to be saying good-bye to my pet of ten years but Heather assured me no one else would touch Hermione, she'd be with her every step of the way; she'd spend time bonding a little before the injection, etc. It made it possible for me to accept that I'd made the best decision and I left knowing she was in the hands of someone who truly loves animals. Thank you, Heather.
I adopted all cats I own from here! The staff is nice and not to pushy, they are happy to be there and happy to help you find the new pet that's right for you. As far as the animal friends you normally find at Campus for Compassion, there's usually a wide variety of dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets. It depends on the time of year you go and if your looking to adopt but have a tight budget their prices range from only the 25$ adoption fee for older cats, up to puppies and kittens available from 150$ (mostly kittens for any price less than 200$) - 500$.
I took our dog here for their Spay Neuter Clinic and then again for a Shot Clinic. For inexpensive shots and spay/neuter surgeries, this is a great place. Keep in mind it is first come first served so it could be a wait and you might not get in. They also offer sheduled appointments with their vet. I cannot speak to that as I have not to used it, however the fees seemed to be lower than other places.
Same as other reviews on here.THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! I have called 8 times during a two day span and in varying times of the day. 8 TIMES!!!! Is the phone plugged in? I also called another number that was recommended in a response from the 'owner' but its the same! NO ANSWER! Good luck folks if you try to call. I did leave a message in the past and have NEVER received a call back. Again, I left a message today and DON'T EXPECT a call back.
Great facility and the staff is awesome and knowledgeable. Adoption has great benefits versus purchasing a new dog.
This is where I put my dog down. They were there for every step of the way. Very compassionate people and they treat the animals like if they were their own. They helped me get through. They're prices are very affordable unlike other veterinarians.
We decided to adopt a cat for our soon to be eleven year old daughter. We came to the Campus for Compassion location and found Katy. Instant love!!! She's beautiful, calm, and so sweet. The staff that assisted us in finding a cat were wonderful and knowledgeable. We're so happy with Katy and hope she lives a long, happy life with us.
Had my dog put down here. They were very nice and understanding. Didn't over charge like many vet offices would have. I was late due top traffic but they still helped me. Glad they were here.
We were looking for a small friendly dog for our aunt. We found the perfect companion in Boi Boo, a gentle little female Chihuahua! The people there were very helpful and gave us all the information we needed about Boo Boo. We highly recommend that people looking for a pet to adopt go here.
