Hands down the best place to buy a sub. It get's pretty busy here but the wait is worth it. Also they make delicious breakfast sandwiches if you want something filling on the go.

Best deli I've ever been to, fresh everything daily. Worth the wait no matter how long it takes. This family deli is the best. 👍👍 to the whole crew, you guys are all awesome.

By far the largest sandwiches and best tasting sandwiches around!! The French Dip is excellent! Is this a traditional 5 star restaurant? Definitely not! Is it a great sandwich shop? Absolutely!!

It's a small deli that is extremely popular and the popularity is hurting more than it's helping. Wait times are incredible if you have not called ahead of time for your order, sometimes you may wait more than an hour.
The food is good, a cut above an average deli, but it doesn't justify the price and the wait time.response / report this review -

Wow, I can't recommend this place highly enough! We stopped by for a quick lunch based on other reviews. The reviews are right, this little hole in the wall is awesome! We had two BLT'S, a turkey sandwich and an egg and sausage breakfast sandwich. So good and huge food! We all took half of our sandwiches home for dinner. Wish we lived closer to this gem.

I've known Andy Antonelli Sr for over 40 years. When my husband John and I got married back In 1985, he catered our reception for nothing. I miss him dearly, and he is in heaven with both of my sister's, Lorraine and Kelly and my nephew Justin. His business still is going strong, thanks to his kids. His sandwiches are still out of this world. Thank you to all that work so hard to keep his memory going. God bless

Best deli sammiches, EVER. But if you want to have time to eat on a lunch break, you'd better call in your order to go because there is always a long wait for this place, which to me, is just another indicator of their deliciousness.

I have been eating at this Deli for years! pastrami sandwich on sourdough, one of the best in San Diego staff is always friendly. the wait can be long but it's definitely worth it

If I could give them six stars, I would. Have been coming here for about 15 years, best sandwiches around! Obviously during the lunch rush, they get slammed But it's worth the wait. You can always call ahead to place your order so it's ready when you get there. Whenever we have friends come in from out of state, we bring them here and they're always impressed!
