Delissious Hawaiia/Japanese food and the staff extra courteous and helpful.
Sucked. Moved from L.A to S.D not too long ago and so far all the food (Except Mexican & only a certain shop) sucks. The teriyaki bowls tasted nasty. The rice tasted like it was boiled in either dirty water or an old pot. The chicken tasted like something anyone can make at home.. Honestly that was a horribly wasted $28.. Never again!
Great place eat. They have a unique menu. You can order sushi, seafood, alcohol, and my favorite is the teriyaki chicken with vegetables.
The staff there is super nice and I love the paintings and the other decor in the restaurant is pleasing to look at.
The quick story on how I discovered Junz. My boyfriend loves Teriyaki Bowls so he yelped best in San Diego and Junz was by far the closetso that where we went. We havent stopped going either. Their Chicken is out of this world fabulous (I don't know how they do it?!?) However I am partial to their curry dishes. So really cant go wrong here !!!
Not amazing, but it was good. The flavor of the teriyaki sauce was a bit off. I had the shoyu ramen. The broth was good, but the noodles they used were cheap rice noodles, not the noodles you'd normally see in quality ramen. The Jun sushi roll was tasty. I enjoyed that quite a bit.
Cheapest good Japanese-Hawaiian restaurant in the city. Excellent when you are not too hungry; just a few dollars will get you a small plate of food.
Cheapest-- and lowest quality-- ramen and sushi in town. It seems they get their sushi from the 7ELEVEN a couple blocks away. Decent hamburger. Only 8 dollars for a pitcher of beer during happy hour! Including Sapporo and Asahi! Two TVs
Great food and service.
Cheap affordable food. Decent quality.
I'm from Washington. Think of Washington like San Diego, except instead of burrito shops on every corner, there are teriyaki shops on every corner. Junz, reminds me of the authentic experience back home. I've been all over the united States and in five years this is the first time I've found a shop that reminded me of home
Food is always good. Alot of dine-in room available. Always clean. Excellent service. Able to call ahead if needed.
Terrible food, bland with a terriyaki glaze not what i want to spend $20 on will not be going back completely unsatisfied by the food. Atleast the rice was decent
