I've lived here several years and I'm baffled by the low rating. When the pool was being upgraded the staff made arrangements to use another pool for free! When the gym was being upgraded the staff gave memberships to a gym right around the corner, again-free!
I think that they bend over backwards to accommodate inconveniences during the upgrading process and that, I can appreciate. Thank you Ansley for all of the upgrades,
I've lived here for 2 years and I have had a great experience. The location is great, you don't have to deal with major road traffic to pull out of the complex which is great. Our apartment is updated and we LOVE the gray counters. Any issues we've had with needing service work done is answered in a timely manner and the office staff is always polite and happy to see me (but like, I also pay my rent on time). I love how the gym now has key card access, and we've ways felt very safe in the complex. I'd give 5 stars, but for the major part of last year we had no gym (now Harbour Management DID address this by giving us YouFit memberships while the gym was being renovated) and we didn't have a pool all summer, while when we signed the lease we signed with these amenities being a deciding factor. But the gym is now renovated and open and the new saline pool has also been completed, so anyone that moves in will have access to these amenities. All-in-all, Ansley Place is a safe, spacious place to live with a wonderful and attentive leasing staff and maintenance crew. If it were a condo I'd buy our apartment!!!
Where do I begin. I would never ever recommend anyone to move here. The latest of the dramas living here the heating unit has been broken for 3 weeks. It took them a week to actually come a check it. Couldn’t figure it out then another week to tell me they don’t know what’s wrong and now 3rd week the maintenance guy said it was not broken you just have to leave the fan on all the time. He turned on the fan and guess what the heat never came on. I have left VM and emails still waiting for a response. I called GA power and light and they said that is wrong you do not leave the fan running continually. It’s 40 degrees out we need heat. Oh they did leave us a dirty small space heater I forgot to mention we have an 18 month living in the house.
The door to the porch was rotting and falling apart Very dangerous for a little one walking around. I sent pictures and emails. A draft coming through the door and remember no heat. Well it’s taken them 5 weeks and they ended up putting an old door with a huge fitness center sign that is etched on it. It was dirty so the came the next day and painted it. But did not remove the sign. Really you couldn’t put a new door how unprofessional. When I saw the door I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry.
So when they replaced the door surprise carpenter ants coming in the house. That will take another month.
The gym and pool were “under construction” for a year the just opened the pool end of sept oh 9 to 5. I work all day. The gym opened up in September I went in this past Saturday but they still have not figured out how one can access the Gym.
The floors are paper thin I can hear ever foot step and have not hanged anything up because I’m afraid it will coming crashing down. And folks above me are just walking and walls the shake.
They never clean the hallways unless they get enough complaints.
I could go on but enough said. Don’t waste your money here. I have pictures of everything but can’t figure out how to post them.
The one star reviews do not apply to the current leasing staff. Not fair that when people have positive experiences they do not leave reviews but the semi negative has access to leave 1 stars. Keep up the fantastic work ladies. My wife and I are lucky to be members of the community.
Ansley Place Apartments has been the best experience I've had in renting.
The community is always upgrading, clean cut and well manicured.
Followed by staff that's the epitome of being the best at what they do. All have wonderful personalities and attitudes about their place of business, residents and jobs.
I know you can't make everyone happy but I must say they have done an impeccable job at doing so with myself.

Thank you all for your support and professionalism.
You have truly been the staple of my stay.
Thank you
I've been living here for 15 years and I've never had problems with the people in the office until recently. Last week the biggest burner on the stove completely stopped working so I called the office but they never pick up the phone so I walked in the office and spoke to one of the ladies and she said she would place a work order and I was waiting on maintenance all week & nobody showed up, it's been a week since I called & on Friday the Air Conditioning stopped working so we asked for maintenance again, nobody showed up so we went the whole weekend without air conditioning. I'm not sure what I have to do at this point so get some help.
Also, I pay for the pool and it hasn't opened all summer. I want my money back.
This place has been very frustrating from the beginning. When my roommate and I were looking to move here back in February, we turned in applications and all the fees that come with that (probably around $150 or so) and they had to run our credit, which is not unusual. They said it would take a day or two to get back to us and we didn't hear anything back for over a week. I called and emailed and never heard anything. I FINALLY took off work early and went to the leasing office to talk to someone in person and it was taken care of the next day. In their defense, they were changing management companies during this time. So we gave them the benefit of the doubt and went ahead and decided to move in and truly were excited to move here. Unfortunately it hasn't been the best experience. My main complaint is that if you want to get in touch with anyone in the leasing office, you will most likely have to go there during business hours and talk to them in person. A call or email will usually not get a response. For example, I emailed the manager a couple of weeks ago asking when the pool is going to open (because in June the pool should be open.. I mean that is an amenity that I pay for in my rent, right?) and I never heard anything back. Annoying, but whatever. My biggest problem so far is what happened last week. My roommate got home to find that her shower faucet had been taken off and there was a note left saying she couldn't use her shower because it was flooding the bottom floor. No call that day saying they had to go in our apartment because of flooding, nothing like that. I understand that during an emergency you may not have time to call before going in, but we should have been notified at some point that someone was in our apartment that day, in my opinion. We didn't hear anything from anyone all week long so I called Saturday in the early afternoon (during business hours) to get an update on that and also let them know that our kitchen light was out. They didn't answer so I left a message and, once again, never got a response. So today when I was turning in my rent I asked the manager to please respond to my message from Saturday and my email from weeks ago. I personally think that if the pool is not going to be open for the summer, my rent should be lower since I was under the impression when I signed the lease that there would be a pool. But I don't think there's really anything I can do about that. Just over all bad customer service. I consider myself an understanding person and if they would just communicate with me and at least apologize for the inconvenience, I would not even think to write a bad review. But this is ridiculous. I do not plan on living here next year and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
I've lived here for 2 years and I have had no issues. I have lived in both a 2 bedroom and as well as a one bedroom apartment and my transition was easy. The staff is amazing, especially Lauren. Whenever I need anything, they are attentive and nice. Whenever I have had issues, they made sure that my issues were resolved. I'm not certain how they got a low rate but trust that my experience has been great. Yes the prices has gone up but it is a good apartment, in Sandy Springs, so you cannot expect to pay below market price for good living conditions. People need to understand
that no apartment can satisfy you 100% of the time. The people in this office are respectful and do their best to accommodate their residents. That speaks volumes.
I have found my new home thanks to Lauren Jackson and the incredible staff at Ansley Place. Such a wonderful experience so happy 😁
Completely disagree with the low rating that this apartment complex has right now. Awesome staff that wants to see you happy and really helpful. A place that nobody will bother you after a long day of work, you will be able to rest in a quite place like this. Love it! My apartment is renovated and the availability and willingness by the staff (especially Lauren) to help made me renew ny lease. Keep it up!
The staff has always been very helpful and nice to me! The apartments were nice and clean but not upgraded like some others in town. I constantly had issues with my heating/air, my refrigerator, and my power went out at least twice per week (GA power said it was in working order) but the staff did their best to accommodate my needs. I think the parent company should look into updating their units and systems.
Slept here with my mates for a sleep over.. 1st of all let me tell you this, I hate it there. It smelled weird(and not a good weird) management is very very rude and dismissive. I overall wouldn't recommend anyone to live here. I had silver fish in my suitcase 😷 I wasn't to happy about. And everyone just stares at you as if you are an alien. Walls are paper thin too!! The worse you can hear everything(and I mean everything) my mate told me the lease is a rip off.. she won't be living there anymore pretty soon.
I, like Connor, disagree with the low rating of this apartment complex. I signed a 12 month lease in May of 2015 and after the 12 months with a roommate, I decided to move to another unit on the property and sign for another 12 month lease. Every apartment has it's flaws and everywhere you go there will be issues.. I think the key is finding the apartment with flaws you don't mind.
I disagree mostly with the issue people have with the leasing office, so that's where I'll start. The ladies in the leasing office currently/ this past year are: Tracy, the manager, and Lauren and Pecondra who work in the front desk. You get out what you put in, so if you go in angry and determined that they've done you wrong and assume everything is their fault, then don't be surprised if you don't get a smile back.. on the other hand if you go in with a positive attitude and work with them, they're going to bend over backwards to help you. The only complaint I have with the leasing office is the hours: 10-5 is pretty inconvenient for getting mail, but on the other hand, I have had them go in and grab important packages for me outside of office hours, so they aren't unreasonable. The other thing is that you can't get to the gym outside of office hours so I had to get a gym membership to work out even though my apartment complex has a gym I think they're also working to resolve this issue as they're building a new leasing office. The other thing that's annoying about amenities is the gate- it's always either broken and stuck open or people just tailgate you in because its very slow and takes forever to close. I get followed in by someone almost every time I come home. Again though, not the ladies in the leasing office's fault.
The property is clean, the maintenance crew is not only quick but competent and polite. They do what they say they'll do and they do it well. Also, they always leave a note on the counter telling you when they were there and what they did and I like that. It makes me feel more comfortable letting them in my home while I'm away. They're great.
I've never had issue with parking or noise, but I live in the back of the complex where parking is ample and the buildings are small. Plus I live upstairs so I never hear the people below or beside me. There are a lot of children who live here, but I will also say that they're well behaved which is a plus. They play outside and are loud, but I have never had issues with it during courtesy hours, so kids will be kids. It makes me feel good to live in a place where kids are safe to play outside.
I got another notice yesterday actually that we got another new management team and along with that always comes new rules and new things to learn. I think that people who have issues with that around here are just simply ignoring the flyers and notices.. I've never had issues with "missing the memo" around here. Hopefully this new team fixes a lot of issues others are having, but I am glad I live here.
4 stars because nothing is perfect, I've had my fair share of things I've had to go into the leasing office to fix (my mailbox keys don't fit in my mailbox, the bathroom door is a little crooked so it sticks, there isn't enough storage for my things in the bathroom) but they have been very polite and have done what they can to alleviate my problems. I feel like they listen and like they care about my happiness living here. Don't count this place out when you're looking for apartment complexes.. and if you read this and decided to move there, PUT MY NAME ON YOUR REFERRAL FORM! :)
