When you take your dog to the vet good communication between the staff and client is crucial. I just hate when I feel that they didn't understand my concerns or the reason for my visit. I don't like to feel rushed and I shouldn't have to feel scared leaving my best friend with them. Dr. Deams staff made me laugh they told me in detail what will happen during the procedure and what to expect when I picked up my dog Jojo. They answered all my questions and made feel comfortable. Jojo had his surgery and when the anesthesia wore off I was called and allowed to take him home. As soon as I let him out of my car he was all about playing with his stuffed animal and barking at me to throw it. I am extremely happy with this Animal Clinic and I highly recommend Dr Deam. I would of paid any amount for Jojo to be happy again. Jojo is my baby and means the world to me. He watches over me and I love him back.

The clinic is well run, very professional, and friendly. I brought my cat in for a follow-up. The cat was so happy here. The vet instantly had a rapport with the animal. This will be my go to vet.

My pup somehow managed to rip off a part of her nail late Wednesday night, the night before Thanksgiving. First things Friday morning I started making calls to try and find an appointment, and either no one was open, or they had no appointments and the Emergency room wanted to charge $156 just for the visit fee! That did not include the exam, a diagnosis,or treatment. I called my husband give him an update & he suggested a little Vet he passes on his way to work. I called them, and sure enough Animal Clinic of the Oaks was open and had an appointment and got us in right away! They also had a promotional half off on vet fee for new patients! They were so good to my little girl, they look care of removing the rest of the nail, cleaning it, and wrapping it up, for her. They wrote a prescription for antibiotics. We were in & out of there in less than an hour. I am do thankful to the wonderful team here who helped mend my pup.

The staff and Dr. Deam took great care of my beloved German Shepherd Dog for much of his life. My dog would get excited to go to the vet! They helped me keep him happy and healthy and live a full and joyful life. Finally, the day came when old age took over. The kindness and humane, loving care my dog received up to the end, by all at the clinic, will never be forgotten. We can never thank them enough.

Dr Deam is one of the best Veterinarians in the Conejo Valley, maybe further out. He is kind, compassionate and always puts the owners concerns at ease. He's a true animal lover and puts the pets health first. He's honest and most important he doesn't over charge!
