I am honestly so thankful that I found this place. After getting a tumor removal surgery, my rat started exhibiting signs of serious breathing distress overnight (a stress related URI) and I immediately started calling every emergency animal hospital in the area asking if they had a rat vet available. The receptionist told me that although he was in surgery, she would get the vet out immediately. On arrival, my rat immediately received care + was put on oxygen. The facility was big, clean, and the staff was very friendly. I am so thankful that they saved my Meatball 💜 She stayed for five days and she's had such a turn around, it's unreal. The price was actually much less than we expected it to be as well; which was definitely nice ! My Meatball came home today + I have a lot of hope that she'll fully recover ! They turned the situation around from me crying and having multiple panic attacks a day -expecting her to die- to her being a happy healthy rat once again :> Thank you so so much for saving my fur baby !

Dr. Paul & his team have taken care of many of my family's dogs -- including my parent's & brother's. They have always been professional and compassionate and take the time to explain everything well. Our 10yr old rescue Shepherd mix has been on medication for epilepsy most of her life & always receives the best care here. I'd like to add that Dr. Allie is a great addition to the team and we've been so happy with our recent appointments with her.

Emergency Doctors available 24/7? Sure, as long as your pet doesn't mind an hour long wait Compassionate care? Not so much. Their 2 stage euthanasia was brutal! He never fell asleep. Endured extreme fright, drooling, and head weaving until someone came to 'check on him' for the final needle. Horrible! I would never have known this if I had not stayed with him through the whole process. Also charged 100% for the botched euthanasia. Shame on them for all of it!

I had the most amazing vet experience with Dr. Alli! We experienced an emergency with our dog, Megan who needed immediate surgery in the middle of the night. The price was $1,600 under what another clinic was charging. Megan is in great health and I will certainly be returning in the future.

You guys are the best vet experience I've ever had. It's hard to trust vets sometimes and it always feels like they just care about money. With the animal clinic of Morris plains you guys go out of you way to help people and work with them. You can tell that your in it for the love of animals. For me, a person that owns 2 sugar gliders it's hard to find a good vet that is knowledgeable that can treat them. Most vets will bs me and pretend that they know what they are doing when it comes to suggies. With your awesome staff and vets I feel comfortable bringing my little guys here. Thank you

We love the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains! They've taken care of our parrots for 15 years and we couldn't be happier. They treat our birds with such care that we never worry when we go away and board them. They're always happy to see us, but they have a good time dancing on top of their cages while they're there. I recommend them for any exotics for their expertise. One of our parrots died while being treated there and we knew that she had had the best possible care. She had acute leukemia and couldn't survive, and our only regret was not being there with her. She had her best chance with these vets. I can't say enough about the amazing care they provide.

You won't find a better clinic for your pet! Very caring doctors and staff always make sure your pet is receiving the best care available. They also have fantastic hours - are open 7 days a week. The facility is very clean and spacious. I would recommend Animal Clinic of Morris Plains to everyone. Shout out to the best - Dr. Joseph Powell! :)

I would never take my animals anywhere else. I have exotics and not only are the vets compassionate, but they know more about exotics than any other vet I've brought my reptiles to. The vet, while treating my lizard, said he would even take a look at my Moon Crab if it needed to be seen. He's even treated fish! Financially, they were lifesavers. They made sure my animals always got the best care and that I would be able to afford to give it to them. They are great at working with your needs. I recommend this clinic to everyone I know.
