Awesome local diner. Open 24 hours. Very good breakfast and excellent Greek food. Gyros are great and a house specialty. Omlettes are very good, as are pancakes. Wings are good. Not a fan of the french toast

My go to spot for breakfast any time of the day. Can't got wrong with the pancakes deluxe meal. Waffles are good too! Despite french toast being my favorite, I'm not a fan of french toast at this spot (the bread isn't my preferred type, but you might like it). If you order a coffee be sure to ask for a spoon when you order if you take sugar and/or cream. The hot chocolate is perfect and always made right. I can't speak to the rest of the menu because I always get the pancakes! Overall great spot for Diner seekers.

    Really liked it here.

met up with an old friend and she suggested this place. We were greeted fast and seated right after.

food was good and service was good.

Just ok. I thought it would be cheaper than a hotel breakfast but wasn't. $30 for 2 people? Google should add another $ to the single one indicated. $3.25 for a milk! Food was fine and the diner is large so it can accommodate a lot of people.

Great food! The diner food is typical fare, but the baked goods and Mediterranean food is fantastic! As a side note, the salad is always very fresh and the house dressing is amazing. It is hard to find a place with a good side salad, but this place does it right!

this has been one of my favorite places to go in Northern VA. the food is consistently good and the prices are reasonable. it's one of the few family run Greek restaurants around. there is a very low turn over with the staff. it may not be the fanciest restaurant, but it's always is a warm and comfortable place to be.

Food was really good. Restaurant was a bit tucked away behind a bunch of trees. I was only able to spot the neon lights because I was driving in around 5am. Lots of pies to greet you on the way in :)

This is the second year in a row I'm in the area for an event, so I decided to try the diner closest to the hotel. This diner seems to be rather popular at breakfast time. The interior is done in the classic diner style, comfortable with many booths. I thought Amphora's food pricing was on the high side for diners (although probably not too out of line for the DC area) but portions are big and the Tex Mex Scramble I tried was pretty good. Service was very sweet and attentive.

They have great food and friendly service. We love going here for brunch. They do some things a bit weird, though, which is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. For example, they were out of strawberry preserves one morning my wife ordered the french toast, and they brought out a small cup with strawberry jelly in it. Another time they gave me tzatziki sauce instead of tartar sauce with the fish and chips.

Like this place a lot. The price is a bit high for what you get but they are always open. It's a good place to stop off for food after a night out. The dessert many is very good as well.

This place is open 24 hours and has one of the biggest menus I have ever seen at a restaurant. Even better the dinner food is actually pretty good. It is a great alternative to any late night fast food drive through.

This has something for everyone. I have gone there for years, and never had a bad experience. There is a large, full menu and you may have breakfast all day there. This is one restaurant I truly miss and try to visit when in Herndon, Va

Everything is good about this restaurant ..but one thing! Not Paying its Employees!!! since 3 months ago the Restaurant had given checks with no funds to its employees make them wait and beg to the restaurant to get paid and what's the answer they get back No Customers No Money! This Restaurant Does Not Deserve Its Customers! They deserve to be sued by the Department of Labor & Industry. I still wonder why this restaurant is still open if cannot pay its employees.
