Delicious food and prompt service for a reasonable price. It's a new favorite of mine. I will certainly be going back.

Food was delicious and fresh. No issue with special requests to hold raw onion on my salad platter and my daughter's gyro sandwich. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely return

Took the family here for breakfast. It was our first visit but it will not be our last. The food was delicious. The diner was clean. The people were friendly. The prices were reasonable. This is a really nice diner!

Fast and affordable food. Ordered a grilled cheese but the cheese wasn't melted more than maybe 30% . I was so incredibly hungry I ate it anyway. Have been there for breakfast many times though and it's always excellent

Typical greasy spoon diner, went there late at night after a long stressful day to eat and unwind.
The waiter was unaccomodating and the host did not seem to want to be there. I understand it's third shift but you are representing a company.
The waiter didn't ask how I wanted my burger cooked, instead gave it borderline rare with slightly dirty lettuce. I would have gotten better fries at McDonald's. My partner ordered chocolate chip pancakes which turned out pretty decent but it's hard to go wrong with that in the kitchen.
The pancakes is the only thing that stopped this rating being a one star. Hoping they had some sort of hygiene in the kitchen as regards to our food. If the front of the house isn't good, what does that mean for the back?
Waiter staff careless, food is shoddy, I don't think I would return here during the day to see if it's any different.response / report this review -

The food is okay. The is hit or miss with food and service . I do go there a lot because of the location and the price is good for what you get. The desserts are amazing though. I do enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of pie or piece of cake.

Pretty good food but not amazing. Depending on the server you get it can make the experience better or worse. If you are in the area and want diner food it's a decent place.

So as a Member of the Military I don't expect to receive Military Discounts at places I go, but when going to a place called American Star Diner Figured they would have. Otherwise the food came fast acutely and was very good. I would recommend going there
