They claim to fit your busy schedule, and try to appeal to people with full time jobs, and families to take care of. The school's attendance policy allows you to miss so many days per term, but the teachers are apparently entitled to make their own policies, and can refuse to allow students to make up their work. I was working full time, and had a full load of classes, and sometimes, forced to miss a class. This teacher was hell bent on not allowing make up work, and said she doesn't give "hand outs". . . Went to the dean and president for help, all I wanted was a chance to earn my grade, without retaking the class, but no such luck.

My experience was OK. I wasn't challenged much at all. The curriculum could use some work. Some classes were a waste of time and money. The core classes were good hands on. If you want to go to an easy school with an easy academic plan. You go here. If you want a challenge? By all means, go somewhere else .

I am currently a student at ANU. I totally love the atmosphere and everything else about the college. I have already had some AMAZING teachers: Elizabeth Bryant, and Jo Schultz, and I am sure I will have some more this term.

I am currently a student here and I will say that if my credits transferred, I would most definitely NOT waste another minute of my time at this school. They offer grants for military members and their dependents, but then they make up all these rules (which are written no where in black and white) to find any reason not to approve a grant. Many of the staff member are under experienced and the staff of student services employees are rude!! Run and fast when you hear the name American National University!!
