American Epoxy did my garage floor five years ago. They left sharp edges, missed spots, and just tried to plow through the job to get it done and move on. They had to come back several times to do fix ups, and to their credit, they did.
That said, two years in the floor started yellowing. It was under warranty, and they sold me on paying extra for urethane coating to ensure it doesn’t yellow again. I agreed, paid more, and they re-did the floor.
Fast forward again a couple of years, and my entire floor is yellow. Although my floor is under warranty still because we got a new warranty when we added and paid for the urethane coating and redoing the floor, after 4 voicemails and several emails, nobody is calling me back.
Poor product, false claims that certain materials would work better, and poor customer service. I imagine they are frustrated at at this point they’ve lost money on this job, but you need to stand behind your product, and they are not. Avoid these folks. My parents and my sister used another company, and they have had zero issues.
Notice the yellow floor in these pics and the distinct color difference between the edges and the faded rest of the garage
I LOVE my garage floor. It came out perfect. No gimmicks, no bait & switch. Quoted the job, did what they said they would do, showed up on time and finished in 1 day. I could not have been more pleased. I already referred them to others!
They came out with samples and gave Me a decent estimate. Looking forward to getting the work started next week excited to see what they can do.
American Epoxy came out and gave us a quote schedule the job for later in the month the price was fair and the job met our expectations. . I'd recommend them especially with how south Florida is in regards to contractors.
Our floors turned out good in our house after we had them done. Dan and his crew put them down over the existing tiles floors we had. It completely changed the look of our home.
