This place has the best food ever! Prices may be high, but you won't regret buying a meal because of how great the quality is. Plus the venue had AMAZING views and the staff is extremely inviting and super friendly! I never regret coming here!

Excellent place to enjoy an event or concert and definitely a great hokey venue (Home of the Tampa Bay Lightning). no seat is a bad seat and there are no obstructions when viewing a concert/live event. I will say that the third level is set pretty steep and if you are in the farthest distance from the stage you might be challenged in identifying your favorite band member. The arena seats about 18.5K-20k .

There are plenty of bars and eating establishments in the vicinity so arrive early, grab a parking space (either in their garage or the many garages located in downtown) and relax before you need to make the short walk to the arena.

I’ve actually had two experiences here. The first, an Imagine Dragons concert a couple years back, was great. But this year I was swindled during parking. I visited Tampa for the museum across from the arena and the parking attendant was not only rude, but he didn’t tell me that there was an event later that day and parking prices were inflated. I was visiting from out of town so I didn’t know. Paid and went to the museum and the nice lady there told me I could’ve parked for free a couple minutes away and the pricing was unusually high. I went back and was told that I couldn’t get a refund even though I was not informed of the inflated prices. The parking attendant gave me a fake email to contact the managers of parking. So I used Facebook to message them and they quickly responded and even called, but said that they couldn’t refund me because I’d already parked there and they couldn’t know if I went to the event. That was understandable, and of course that parking attendant wasn’t going to be honest about it. The attendant was the biggest issue for me, not the actual managers/contacts. They responded very quickly. But that attendant didn’t have to be a jerk. So no thanks for that.

Went to a Thursday Lightning game at Amalie. The arena was very clean and easy to navigate. Our seats were very high up, but we had a great view. Plenty of great choices for food and drinks. Very easy to exit after game concluded. My only gripe is that one of the vendors ran out of beer. Great experience! Go bolts!

A nicely maintained facility. Great for sports games. Good view from anywhere. Not so great for concerts if you sit on the floor level. I would advise you not to buy unless you are in the very first few. People standing obstruct your view and there is usually on one video screen located in the center. You will not see anything on the stage.The cheaper side seats have a much better view. Food and drinks are ridiculously expensive!

Great venue place. I will say it's best to sit in front rather than upper level for sound quality. Santana was amazing! I sat in front and the sound was better than when I have sat in upper seats for other concerts. However, 33$ for 2 beers and 5$ for a water that's highway robbery. They need to fix that! Glad I ate at Champions grill at Mariott across the street. Food prices are outrageous!

Stunning arena, well-maintained, good seats, and friendly staff. The prices on the food are exceptionally high and I would suggest you eat elsewhere. We have visited for concerts, games ,and other events and each time have not had any issues. Parking is simple and easy to access and the check-in process is smooth with no issues.

My daughter and I went to a Lightning Hockey game there to celebrate our birthdays. The hockey game was great, but the experience outside of the game was remarkable. The amenities are all great - local restaurants have a strong presence here, and you really get a good sense of the local fare. It is easy getting in and out for events, and I always find parking reasonably priced and within easy walking distance. Inside the arena, if you are there for hockey, there is a beautiful and HUGE video board to follow the play ( and replays). There really aren't any bad seats in the place, at least not that I have found. A huge pipe organ, and real tesla coils make artificial lightning to add some excitement to home team goals. It makes for a great fan experience. The only negative I can think of is the really high price for beer or soft drinks. The food is actually reasonably priced for a sports arena. Just not the drinks - probably the highest I have ever paid for a beer. Still, everything else outweighs that, and I still give it a solid five stars.

Awesome venue! I saw Kendrick Lamar here and was so pleased with my experience. It's easy to get to and to navigate within the arena. I wasn't up close -- seated in section 206 -- however, I felt close enough to enjoy the show. The staff was friendly and helpful. Concession stands were easy to find and offered a decent variety. Overall, Great experience and I'm ready for my next show!

Our first trip to Amelie Arena was for the final Ringling Bros. show. Parking was a little confusing, with construction around the area, but we lucked into a lot right across the street. The arena itself was nice. Pretty packed going in through security, but went faster than expected. Clean restrooms, nice seats. Pretty enjoyable evening!

Have seen numerous concerts and hockey games here. It's one of my favorite places for these type events. I have been to stadium size similar events, and there is no comparison to sound quality, being able to see the stage with great sound in the smaller arenas. I especially don't like exorbitant ticket prices at the very large, open air concerts with less of a quality experience.

This was my first time at Amalie Arena. I took my family to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with special guest, Joe Walsh. There were so many people but the crowd moved quickly. Once in, we found our seats easily then made way to food. It looked like they have plenty of options but some of the food spots were closed. This was my biggest annoyance because the food/drink/beer line was long since other spots were closed.
We had decent seats, 3rd level but Row A. There's really not a bad seat in the arena but I guess depending on the artist performing, it's pretty expensive. If you can afford it, the terrace or private suites look incredible and had their own food & beverage service.
All in all, nice arena, good views, decent amount of bathrooms, and lots of food options.

Extremely important to understand that the ongoing construction outside has no affect on this information as that can't be helped by the arena. As an avid hockey fan I love my lightning arena. I love Amalie arena. The party deck, chase club, and the many vendors inside. Sure the price is high for beer [$6.50 - 16.50], food, and other drinks but no worse than any other sporting event. The staff are amazing, and the facilities are clean.

Recently saw Twenty One Pilots in February at this gorgeous venue. Parking was a breeze , security process was smooth and quick. Inside the facility is beautiful with a huge variety of friendly food and beverage vendors and clean restrooms. There is even a smoking area outside. The arena itself was terrific, spacious and easy in and out. Amelie staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. This was my first time but my companion has been here many times and states it is always a pleasure!
