Really great food but they close early unannounced all the time. That really isn't acceptable for a carry-out only pizza shop. I walked in at 9:30pm to grab a pint of gelato on Thursday 9/7 (Website says they close at 10:00) and was told to leave after walking up to the counter. The door wasn't even locked. It takes 30 seconds to ring out a pint of gelato. Pretty unprofessional - I've been ordering here nearly every week for 2 years and this is at least the third time they have closed before the business hours posted.

I'm not sure if this is poor management or lazy co-workers, as I worked in a pizza shop and know how it goes. Hate to knock Altieri's, but it is just incredibly frustrating to look up the hours to a place to see they are open, drive there, walk in, and then be told to leave.

The crust on their pizza amazed me at first bite. It was soft airy and perfect with every bite. We all know that without a good crust you can't have great pizza. And this pizza was amazing! At the moment I would put Altieri's above Gioninos for best pizza in the area.

Altieri's is a great local pizza place. There are plenty of delicious perks - their unique blend of cheeses, free slice when you pick up, a wide variety of specialty pizzas (including gluten free!), and great wing sauces. Definitely try their deep dish pizza!

I can't say enough good things about Alteri's. The pizza is amazing! Hands down the best pizza in the area. The people are super nice as well. I love how they show you your pizza when you pick up your order and then give you a snack sample piece to go. Classy touch.
