I was there to visit a friend whose home was damaged by a tree and the insurance company won't fix it, so she is having to live at the motel for now. But the Altamont Motel is easy to find! It is located at the corner of Cumberland Road and Main Street. It isn't something fancy but they do keep the rooms clean!

Dated rooms, but family ran. Great price and everything worked incredibly! Would recommend anyone to stay here! They even had a little kitchenette in our room with a stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and hair dryer 😉 Staff is incredible and it was a VERY friendly little town!

This place is not the Taj Mahal, but the rooms are clean they have nice TVs and good cable. They have free long distance phone calls free wi-fi and free local phone calls. The people who own and work at this place treat you with respect. I would stay at this place before I ever decided to stay in a major chain.

I realize this is a small town it's not a part of some gigantic super chain of hotels, but these people are nice and they have nice TVs and super fast internet. They will take care of your needs, all you have to do is ask. I know is not what you expect at the big hotels but seriously what do do you expect at these rates. I have seen bigger hotels who charge more and don't even come close to what they offer. But if you need to be pampered this isn't the place for you, but if you look for good price and good internet and quiet relaxation this is it

Very gross rooms there not cleaned very good heatets dont work n they wont give back your money either

This hotel is nothing to look at from the outside but inside, its facilities are very good. It has very reasonable rates and I would highly recommend it
