I love them I go to them all the time. I am so happy that they are constantly the same Awesome food clean bathrooms and outstanding prices anytime of day. Love love loveeeeee them
The rolls I ate was good. Just the drinks took so long and wasn't full.
Don't like Japanese dumplings sorry thought I wouldonly ordered Shumai so idk everything else on the menu I cannot remember the drink was good tho
I usually love this place but today I was having a meeting with colleagues and we were talking business and reviewing the menu before ordering. The bartender rudely interrupted and told us that we need to order something if we're going to sit at the table. So we asked her if we could give her our order because we were ready. She snapped back, "no you have to come up to the bar, but you have to order because there are people here and you are taking up seats!" The building was nearly empty. Safe to say we took our money else where.
I love all of the dishes I've tried here! Everytime my husband and I visit the welcome and service is impeccable! Super clean and relaxing environment. We can't get enough of Aloha Sushi. I stumbled across Aloha trying to find another sushi place on Charles Street and ended up walking from Pratt St almost to Penn station. It was meant to be because the few that was on Google were a no go!! We are foodies and this place is a win win. The Ninja Roll is my favorite and "not your father's root beer", alcoholic beverage yassssss!
Average sushi, average decor. Overall an okay place to go but there are better options in the area.
Good food for good price. Wait staff and sushi chefs are all friendly. Not sure about bar, but I really like the dining experience.
I have mainly been going to Aloha for their Poke Bowls - either the Ahi Tuna or Salmon, and always for takeout once a month for about the past year. I don't eat the seaweed salad, and even then these bowls are generously portioned so well that I can barely finish half the bowl and usually end up getting two meals out of the one order.
Today I ordered an Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl for lunch and asked for them to leave out the seaweed salad so I wouldn't waste it. When I got home with my order the bowl was nearly half the size of any other order I've gotten here, and it was about 80% rice. Was super bummed, since these aren't exactly cheap bowls so getting skimped was a serious disappointment. The flavor of the actual tuna and cucumbers was still great, but if I'm paying same price and not even asking for ALL of the ingredients (since they don't do substitutions) they could've at least made sure the rest of the ingredients were still the same amount.
Taste gets 3-4 stars, but damn was this portion size lame (and totally out of character) for the price!
The bar is downstairs and is very laid back and relaxing. Happy hour is from 5-7 with different specials everyday. Close to a lot of things to do before and after the bar.
This spot had good sushi and service with strong drinks (particularly the Long Island). The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was because they do not use traditional sushi recipes (which may disappoint your taste buds if you have your mouth expecting a certain taste).
I only come here for the bento lunch special, so I can't comment on anything else. The bento is great and I come 1-2 times per week for that.
Great hidden gem in Baltimore! Cheap/tasty sushi, great specials, and a liquor store is attached!
Bad sushi. Barely ate any of it and wanted a discount on at least something. Owner was not polite enough to come speak with us. Made waiter relay message, he was nice and we felt bad being upset with him. Was forced to pay. They own the liquor store downstairs so if this happens to you go speak with the owner there. Also bad music.
Great sushi, inexpensive with the Sunday night discounts too
I didn't try the sushi, but the Korean food I tried completely satisfied me. I was so excited that they offered BUDAE JJIGAE (ARMY STEW) and it totally delivered a spicy sweet and homey meal experience. It was cold outside, but I felt like that stew kept me warm for the rest of the night.
